Goodbye to Sugar and seed oils forever.
These 2 substances because I can't even call them foods are the main cause of obesity and inflammation in the body.
As you get older your metabolism slows down. Your thyroid's rate slows down. This means the food you eat slowly oxidizes. This is a cocktail to store fat in the body.
Eating rancid oxidized vegetable/seed oils along with sugar is what causes insulin resistance. This can also lead to heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes.
Seed oils containing polyunsaturated fatty acids stick to the endothelial cells blocking sugar metabolism which causes fat to develop can lower testosterone and consuming too much can cause sexual dysfunction in men.
Sugar in the form of fruit and honey can be great for cleansing if that's all you are eating along with vegetables but even too much fructose I've learned over the years can overwhelm the liver and pancreas.
The more the pancreas needs to create the hormone insulin the more stress the pancreas becomes.
All this can lead to weight gain, energy loss as well as depression when these 2 foods are overconsumed.
From 40 years old and up if you eat sugar and sugar everyday you will start to notice your metabolism slow down and you will notice your body gain more fat, water retention, and muscle loss as well.
I am 40 years old. This is the year and from here on out I decided to give up sugar and seed oils forever.
I refuse to lose myself treating myself with sugars, seed oils, or any processed foods for the rest of my life.
I will work out every day eat real foods stick to a lower-carb animal-based diet and make sure I look better in my 40s than I did in my 30s.
When you get older you need to be disciplined to stay in shape and understand that if you don't your bad habits will creep up on you.
Time to hit the gym again. Time to be disciplined again and time to be in the best shape of my life when it counts the most.
I don't know about you but at 40 you must be more disciplined if you want to feel good and look good.
