In recognition of Florence Nightingale's Birthday and National Nurses Week (May 12 - May 18, 2025) Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre is hosting our First Annual Caring for our Caregivers Wellness Open House TOMORROW, Tuesday, May 13 from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
All Nurses, PSW's, Support Staff within hospitals, long term care homes and clinics are all welcome to attend!
Come out and enjoy workshops designed for our caregives to help care for themselves.

Hello, I’m “Bentley” the Comfort Dog at Lakeland Funeral Centre

Hello, my name is Bentley. I am the Comfort Dog at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, Lindsay, Ontario. My coworkers adopted me from the Kawartha Lakes Humane Society in October of 2016. I am a “Whoodle” (Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier and Poodle mix), so I am hypoallergenic. I bring a lot of comfort and smiles to the families that come to Lakeland Funeral Centre. I always enjoy visitors, so you are welcome to come and meet me anytime!
