Hi friends! I appreciate all the outpouring of support as you share and make me aware of the stuff Karuna Horse Rescue is saying about us. I am aware. And I recognize her desire to get attention, empathy, claim notoriety towards the popularity of her rescue in the name of a horse taken from us at Destinacion's and another kind rescue she tried to defame. Your love and support is amazing. But, the horse world is filled with the most amazing folks ever, and sadly, some of the craziest people. Rescues who run around acting crazy and riling up their troops are that way for a reason. My followers always react with dignity and self respect, which means so much. The horse they took control over without permission is, at least, out of her pain. Rest easy, sweet girl. You deserved better than what happened to you, and in the end, no matter how I feel about the rescue, you were laid to rest. This is why I avoid the kill lot drama. This is what ya get.

This guy, Casa O, an OTTB, is coming to Destinacion's. Great-great grandson to Secretariat and great-grandson to Storm Cat, with so many other amazing lines to Thoroughbred greats! Hannah Montey has put in such hard work to rescue, rehab, train, and love this big boy, and now, he comes to us to rehab the people who enter our program to heal. We hear men gravitate to him, giving a real safe place for men to process. The pictures do not do him justice. He is so playful, sassy, and gorgeous.....and WHAT A TANK! A true 17hh and as wide. We are so blessed that Hannah has chosen us for a retirement plan for this money-winner. He was so lucky he found her! We can't thank Hannah enough for this! More pictures in comments. He is a sight to behold for sure. Stone and I are so excited!

Calling all horse lovers and supporters. This is where love and respect for horses matters! Doesn't matter if we're big or small, rescues must not compete, but work together. We need your support! As you know, we take in all horses at any point of their life cycle. We don't demean or ask questions, when they can't be cared for, we do all we can. If they need us, we help. This little horse was already lame, and then, significantly injured. She was unable to be cared for any longer, but was not needing her life to end. Here she is. Pics in comments. Folks in the community, we are asking for one final miracle from the community. The snow has taken down some shelters, demand for horse intake is up, military mental health needs are up, and donations have been down. We need support so badly, and I don't know where else to turn but to friends and family on Facebook. We will have to stop the military su***de prevention program free service to our military and not rescue anymore horses in need almost immediately if we can't find support. While our nonprofit organization is nobody's problem but ours, the military support and helping voiceless animals is a worldwide issue. I am making an appeal, a plea, to all those who see this, to share like crazy, and send a tax deductible, for 2022 taxes, donation to us. 84-3202829 a nonprofit organization. Very transparent organization. Grassroots, started from the ground up with my family and friend's support, all from my heart, passion, and a dream. But I can't do it without you.

I am located in the serene setting of Black Forest, Colorado surrounded by nature, tall trees, and the echoes of silence. Here, I listen to you, your goals, your obstacles, and your history. Then, using an approach to positive psychology, we begin to dissect the obstacles, map out the goals, and discover the needs necessary to reach the best version of you.
