I had a little help packing up after Friday’s Postnatal Yoga with Babies class in Walthamstow. Thankfully, their dad showed up just before class or the entire thing might have looked a bit like this.
Solidarity to everyone juggling autumn illnesses, childcare and work!

A few tender snaps from baby massage today. Week 4 is always a turning point. Babies know the space and what’s happening, the group have bonded, and parents feel comfortable and are growing confident exploring massage with their babes. It’s usually this week when everyone dives in, and the oxytocin really flows. Week 5, our final week with my two current groups next week, will be beautiful I know.
If you’re interested in joining a future 5-week course, at my home near Lloyd Park in Walthamstow, then check out the Jan-Feb and late-Feb to March 2026 courses now up on my site. Nov-Dec this year are all booked up now.

We’re going to do one more before the end of the year!

A quick 🙋🏻♀️ to say join in a bit of shorter week this week.
Friday: postnatal yoga with babies 12-1pm in Walthamstow Village at trinity is not on this week.
Saturday: pregnancy yoga 10-11am in Walthamstow Village at trinity church this week is in the beautifully caring and capable hands of this week (both on my website as usual).
I will be on a retreat lead by in Devon and I cannot wait. The longest time I’ll have been away from my children yet, I don’t know how I’ll feel but I’m very excited for the long weekend ahead.
See you on the other side! A normal week from me next week. Check my site for info/booking. 🧡😘

The highest compliment I could ask for, from a yogi mama after last week’s midweek class.
These spaces hold an awful lot… Time to slow down and tend to your changing body. A safe place to connect with your own feelings and emotions as pregnancy progresses. The opportunity to feel normal and get to know others walking the path alongside you.
Physically, we relax tension held in different areas of the body, learn to drop into deep rest, and build strength to support you through growing a baby, giving birth and recovering postpartum.
Energetically, the focus might be on finding space in your body one week, and the downwards energy of pregnancy and birth another.
All of this helping you to feel connected, grounded, open, mobile and good in your beautiful, powerful body 🧡
Opportunities to practice pregnancy yoga together each week in East London:
Wednesdays 6-7pm Dalston
Thursdays 7-15-8.15pm Hackney Central
Saturdays 10-11am @ Trinity church, Walthamstow Village (book through my site)
Drop me a question anytime. Suitable from 12 weeks onwards. You don’t have to have any experience already.
See you soon x

Baby Massage circles at my home in Walthamstow wrapped up for summer last week. Here’s some kind words from a few mamas who took part.
Build confidence and trust in yourself, support your baby’s comfort and development, and make friends in a small group (max 6 per session) over tea and homemade cake.
Baby massage is an incredible way to connect with your baby through fun and exploration. Positive touch brings us back to our instinctual way of parenting with enjoyment and play.
If you’d like to join a future a baby massage course at my home in Walthamstow, check out the dates online.
The next round begins on 18 September, for 5 weeks.
There will be 2 sessions: 10.30-11.30am and 12.15-1.15pm.
You can book on my site, or send me a message.
Suitable from 4 weeks until your band is very active, only because of space. There’s no need to stop massaging your baby… in fact my children ask for it more and more as they’re getting older.

I asked the community if they had a moment to leave my Google profile a review to help other people find my Walthamstow sessions, and I’m slightly blown overwhelmed by their heartfelt words. These are some of the loveliest testimonies I’ve ever read. Thank you everyone!
Happy Friday gang. The world is a tricky place, as my five year would say, but remember we all have the power to make a difference and use your energy to do good. It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t feel like you’re achieving anything moment to moment, day to day. Just your presence, and you being you, is enough.

Sian is a 500-hour British Wheel of Yoga accredited yoga teacher, living in London. She graduated from triyoga’s two-year teacher training diploma, led by Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo- Deemer, and is currently assisting part time on the same course. Sian qualified in pregnancy yoga teaching with Nadia Narain.
Sian’s intention is to help students cultivate balance and stability in their mind and body, using breath and alignment as tools to nurture their own yoga and explore the benefits of the practice. She has a passion for yoga's capacity to support healing and health in all of us.
Sian has been practising hatha and vinyasa for over a decade. She quickly came to love the mindful movement and playfulness of the practice, how it left her better equipped to handle everyday stress, as well as able to approach the bigger stuff in life through connecting with her own experience. Yoga has also improved Sian’s breathing, easing her lifelong asthma.
Sian’s style is a nourishing, mindful, breath-led flow. Her classes are fun and inclusive, and a space where students can be curious to connect with themselves through inquiry. Each session works towards exploring a key concept or certain poses in greater depth. Her aim is for students to feel more grounded, attuned to their breath and aware of their own body by the end of class.
