I don't do many selfie's but when I do, I do them at White Sands New Mexico. The sand is made of gypsum. It's not sticky and the whole place is electric. It's like walking on a giant selenite crystal! 🔮🪄

Going through hard times is actually a blessing if you can train yourself to see it. It’s also probably the hardest thing you will ever do. Everything on this earth has an opposite. Up has down, hot has cold, in has out, and every cloud has a silver lining. If you are having a hard time and it’s bad, then it also has to have a good component. That's why there's the saying, "pressure makes diamonds." If you react to a bad situation and you all you perceive is a curse, then you will only realize the bad in that situation. If you can also train yourself to perceive it as a blessing, then you will find a hidden treasure buried within the negative event. Voluntarily sleeping is so essential for human body as food is, just lie down and relax yourself and let it go, but don’t get into sleep. That is essential, they call it conscious sleep. Conscious sleep is most beautiful for channeling the human body and its energy and keep your life going smoothly.—7/18/1975

Pranayam - eight stroke breath:

One of the best way to channel your energy is to do the Pranayam and what can effect immediately is, eight stroke Pranayam, let us call it eight stroke, Asht Grah.

Inhale four times and hold.
Exhale four time and hold.
Inhale four times and hold
Exhale four times and hold.

Do it for three minutes please. At the end, inhale and exhale and relax.

It is best that after this breath you don’t have anything loud happening around you if possible. Now if you can, after this breath, go into a voluntary sleep, conscious sleep, for ten to fifteen minutes it will give you energy enough to work another five or six hours. Conscious sleep is where you relax without actually falling asleep.

“Three to five minutes of this Pranayam plus fifteen minutes of sleep to be followed by it, give you five to six hours to continue. Normally I do it in bathroom, finish it like this, it’s the most easy thing to do.” —Yogi Bhajan
