Did you know that June is Men's Health Month?

This period is dedicated to raising awareness about the unique health challenges that men face and encouraging men to prioritize their overall well-being. This includes education about men's health issues, emphasizing the importance of routine checkups in early detection and treatment, promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and providing resources and support to address mental health concerns.

Are you curious about how and why men develop chronic pelvic pain? Read Dr. Tiffany Yuen's informative article for to learn more about diagnosing pelvic floor dysfunction in male patients who may be experiencing chronic pelvic pain and how pelvic floor physical therapy (PFPT) can help to address symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) and chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS). She includes additional resources to further your understanding of male pelvic pain and patient success stories that demonstrate how pelvic floor physical therapy can help treat male pelvic pain.

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” Unfortunately, this is NOT true as many people with autism experience bullying from a young age. April is National Autism Awareness Month and we wanted to share ideas with you regarding inclusive language when speaking about or documenting for patients with autism.
