From idea to plate 🍝
This week we made ravioli completely from scratch and the experience went far beyond cooking.
We began by selecting a recipe together, discussing ingredients, considering costs, and planning what we needed. Budgeting and shopping were an important part of the process, with everyone contributing to decision-making and preparation.
In the kitchen, participants developed a range of practical skills, including measuring, mixing, kneading dough, preparing fillings, and assembling the ravioli. It was a great opportunity to build confidence, teamwork, and independence in a supportive environment.
Most importantly, there was a real sense of achievement in creating something from start to finish and sharing it together.
And of course, they tasted fantastic 👏
