Reclaimed from an abandoned derelict farmstead in 1986, BackRoad Farm was named for the highway bordering the property. Although it is situated on the Trans Canada Highway, when the farm was originally surveyed in 1815, the Old Georgetown Road was the main road and the Trans Canada Hwy was the BACKROAD to Charlottetown.

Results from the Miramichi kennel club show. We are happy with our boy Backroad Have a Nice Trip aka TRIP...full brother to Odie. It was his first time out, he showed well and he picked up points from the shows. Thanks again for doing such a good job with my boy Norm Fargo, and a huge thank you to all our judges.

hey friends...i am working on my kennel logo and am looking for input on the FONT to use.....i have two designers working with me..one that did the dog, Pauline at FidoandFlicka on Etsy and another that is doing the logo, local designer Creative Isle Graphic Design & Photography...this is what we have come with.
The dog is Heineken...and I love love love it (this is not the final version of him)..the rest are my ideas, come to life by the designer. I would like input on the font type and design for my kennel name BACKROAD golden retrievers. Its taken me 15 years to get to this stage, and I would really like to get it done...but HAVE NO CLUE as to what the script should look like....input welcome

I love my dogs but sometimes they can be real assholes...not sure who the culprit was, but it was one or all of the boys. While on vacation I installed these cute solar lights on the outside pens...in the walkway to give me more light. The three lights weren't up for 24 hours... I only found one mangled..the other two are missing or inside the dogs...must love dogs.....
