So here I go again…
It’s 7:17am on a Saturday morning and I have an affinity for creating a new page every-time I *think* I have some great idea (15 “great ideas” so far), be it a business idea or otherwise. They tend to not turn into anything special, except to me in my chaotic mind. Maybe this page won’t lead anywhere either, but I gotta create it anyways. No choice.

Let me cut to the chase…
There’s a major issue in our mental health system. If you are ever involuntarily admitted to a psych ward (as I have been a number of times) you are no longer able to work in the mental health field, in nearly any capacity except janitor, here in Michigan (I’m unsure of laws in other states). This leads to the Community of Mental Health (not only CMH proper, but the entire community) being lead and monopolized by a massive and powerful group of employees (therapists, psychologists, etc) who don’t and could never have the first idea of what it is to truly be CRAZY. In an exaggerated sense it’s “The Blind leading the Enlightened”.
A more common example of this is former criminals not being allowed to become police officers, correction officers, etc. While it might make sense to some of you on the surface, it creates an atmosphere of US vs THEM, which lacks empathy, lacks understanding, and lacks overall effectiveness, to say the least.
With all that said, my goal is simple...to become FRIENDS with as many of my fellow abnormal souls and minds as I can. Talk with them. Attempt to truly understand. Because if anyone can, then I’d say I’ve got a pretty good shot (please forgive my hubris).
And that’s it. TALK and ATTEMPT TO UNDERSTAND. That’s the entire reason I created a FB page. “CRAZY” I know…
That’s it. If you don’t understand that then, well then you just might be normal. Sorry… But don’t shoot me, I’m just the messenger.
