Caroline Sheldrick, Medical Herbalist Medical Herbalist, retired from practice Caroline qualified as a Medical Herbalist in 2003 and practises in clinics in Stroud,
Cirencester and Nailsworth.

As well as seeing patients in clinics, Caroline also
makes home visits. She gives regular slide shows and talks to interest groups,
and makes 'HERBALIST' brand products (creams, teas and oils) for sale
at events and online.

Market at Chalford Sports and Social Club on 3 May, 10-1, with the usual range of goods including my herbal products.
I also have a Plant Sale on Bank Holiday Monday 4 May (May the Fourth be with you!) 10-4 at my back gate on Lynch Road, GL6 8LN. Lots of annuals, perennials and vegetable plants. Do pop by and say hello.

Thoroughly enjoyed revisiting Marshfield Gardening Club yesterday, to talk to them about A Year in the Cutting Garden. There were growers in the audience who had vastly more experience in this field than I, but they were very gracious about it and helped answer questions from the floor. Gardeners are so generous.

Sunday 7 December is the last market at Chalford Sports and Social Club. Olive usually has lots of lovely things sold in aid of Horsfall House (many a last-minute Christmas present there) and I will have the usual herbal stuff plus indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations (unless they all sell on 6 December at Shrubditch Care Farm!) More wreaths outside Nailsworth Library on Saturday 13 December in the morning.

Delighted to be invited to Shrubditch Care Farm near Cirencester for their Christmas Market on Saturday 6 December. I will be taking all the usual herbal treats plus some indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations. Its open from 10am to 1pm.

Lovely to meet again the good folk at Downend Gardening in Retirement Club today. Its always a reassuring pleasure to be invited back as a speaker! This time I spoke to them about A Year in the Cutting Garden. That's the final talk of 2025, so far about twelve booked for 2026.

Two markets coming up, where I will have Calendula skin cream, Rose face cream, Sleepy tea, Digestive tea, Bladder Soothe tea and Antiviral mix. They are:
Saturday 15 November, Box Village Hall, 11-3
Saturday 29 November, Minchinhampton Parish Church, Holy Trinity, 10-4
I will also have Christmas evergreen wreaths and tribute bowls.

Looking forward this week to speaking to groups near Worcester and Chepstow. Is there a renewed interest in herbal medicine, or is it just that the NHS is having so many problems at present? Had a lovely sunny walk last week along part of the Cotswold Way near Uley, and saw over twenty medicinal plants in as many feet. Amazing.

Problem with one batch of Calendula Skin Cream. Please, if you have any of my Calendula cream, check the batch number. Its on the bottom right of the label. If it reads 'B5/25' then please throw it away, and contact me for a refund or replacement. Email is cjsheldrick@gmail.com. When I made this batch, I did not put the preservative in, and its going mouldy. Sincere apologies to all my customers.
