It's Meet the Team Monday! Meet Dr. Ben Wilks, MD. He's a Board Certified ER Physician and the Chief Medical Officer at Onus iV Therapy and Longevity! When he's not saving lives in the ER, he's helping Onus run a tight ship and develop new services (like our recent addition of peptides!) Here are some fun facts from Dr. Ben:
My last job before medical school I worked as a downhill mountain biking tour guide on the worlds most dangerous road in Bolivia, named El Camino de la muerte.

I currently work as a locum tenens physician and had an assignment in the Mississippi delta during Covid. I worked in the town of Clarksdale which is the birthplace of blues music.

I regularly compete in international bike races including the Haute Route Alps where I rode 500 miles and 70,000 feet of climbing.

Needless to say I enjoy my adrenaline 😅

My favorite treatment at Onus is the Aspen, it has a little bit of everything to cure what ails ya!

I've always been active, and my favorite sports are running, snowboarding and this year, I got into adult gymnastics again! I'm a big Swiftie and this past year I took a 24-hour trip to Indianapolis to see her solo. While I love Colorado, I am a beach girl at heart. My family grew up going to the Outer Banks and it is my happy place :) My husband and I have 2 nearly identical but unrelated pups that we love spending time with!
