I ventured into town today in search for a tarot box for my new Deck. I was asked my opinion on the Rider Waite Smith deck and also talked quite passionately about the the Thoth deck and the Opening Of The Key spread. Now I'm inspired to make a few videos on the subject.

EXAMPLE OF A READING USING THE CARD COUNTING TECHNIQUE. Here I disregard the traditional meanings of the cards and use the astrological attributes to give a time to the events that may be happening...

CARDS COUNTED: Princess of Swords. Adjustment (Libra). 10 of Cups. Aeon (Judgement). 4 of Swords. The Fool. 2 of Swords. 4 of Wands. The Hanged Man. The Sun.The Prince of Disks. ...counting back to The Aeon (Judgement) to complete the cycle.

A young female sometime around September 23 and October 22 finds some emotional fulfilment and a time to move on and resolve a situation. Peace, quietness, rest, ease after a time of struggle. A new beginning. Finding peace. To complete a task or unfinished business, and also to stabilise a situation. Making a choice or a sacrifice on a Sunday. ("Keep in mind a Sunday around September 23 and October 22") with a young adult male with who she (The Princess) resolves a situation.

Quick Summary The young female makes a truce, or makes it up with a young male who she may have had an argument or some kind of dispute, or fight with. All seems well now between the two.

The "Cursed" Chained Oak Tree at Alton.

On an autumn night, the Earl of Shrewsbury was returning to his home at Alton Towers when an old woman suddenly appeared in the road ahead of his horse and coach. The coach stopped to find why she was there at which point the old woman begged for a coin. The Earl cruelly dismissed her, so the old woman stated that she would place a curse on him. The old woman told the Earl that for every branch on the Old Oak Tree that fell, a member of the Earl’s family would die. The Earl refused to listen and continued on his way.

That same night, a violent storm caused a single branch from the old oak tree to break and fall. Later that evening, a member of the Earl’s family suddenly and mysteriously died.

Now firmly believing in the power of the curse, the Earl is said to have ordered his servants to chain every branch together to prevent other branches from falling. To this day, the Oak tree remains chained up.
