🎥 Women’s Day Celebration & Iftar Party at QILC! 🌸✨

On March 8, 2025, Quetta Independent Living Center (QILC) celebrated International Women’s Day with the amazing girls of Inception Organization, focusing on the empowerment of women with disabilities. 💪🏼💜

This event was a tribute to the strength, resilience, and achievements of women, especially those who continue to break barriers despite challenges. Through discussions, inspiring stories, and shared experiences, we highlighted the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities for all women.

Quetta Independent Living Center, alongside QuettaOnline Volunteers and The Special Ones, recently organized a heartfelt color painting activity that brought together children with disabilities and their peers in an atmosphere of creativity and inclusion. This event aimed not only to engage children in art but to instill a profound lesson in acceptance, understanding, and equality.

The activity focused on painting themes of inclusion and disability awareness, with volunteers providing children with basic knowledge about disabilities and emphasizing that differences are not barriers but strengths. Through this, we aim to inspire a generation where inclusivity is second nature and where children with disabilities are recognized for their abilities, treated with equality, and valued without labels.

Together, we are fostering a future society that supports and embraces everyone, empowering all children to learn, grow, and thrive side by side.

1 day training on Gender Based Violence in Context of Disability was organized for staff of Quetta Independent Living Center for awareness of our staff on GBV and how Persons with Disabilities are more vulnerable to GBV due to their disabilities.

The Chiltan Lions Club team visited Quetta Independent Living Center and showed keen interest in QILC's initiatives and expressed their willingness to collaborate on future projects. DPM Riaz Baloch and Founder Zia Ur Rehman also discussed potential areas of partnership, including education and healthcare. The visit concluded with a commitment to explore further opportunities for joint social impact.
