The grip of society’s conditioning can be very strong.
And every now and then, it also catches me, and I wonder if I ever will belong to conventional society, when I finally reach all those checkpoints that supposedly we have to check in order to be a “normal” or “mature” member of society.
But then I remember, that to me it is normal, mature, and healthy to live according to my own truth, and set my own rules, and determine myself what it means to live a life well lived.
Is it lonely at times or scary?
Yes, for sure.
we are wired for belonging a social beings, and living a differently than the herd can cause deep feelings of separation and the need for belonging.
But, once you find a deep connection to our own inner core, our essence then we realise that really is the only place we can ever truly belong to.
And then, miraculously, the people who feel and live like you will show up and walk with you.
