Gratitude for the all the things

Quartz, Peridot

As a new year dawns
before the pulse of time finds its rhythm
the world tilts in silence
and the sky bends near to hear

stars shed silver over the night
and galaxies turn like slow incense
trailing light through the veins of the dark
the air hums with something older than time
and the soul remembers the shape of eternity
touching the edges of what was
and of what has yet to come

you stand where no road is named
in the hush between breaths
where your spirit softens and attends

no path is given
no fate is spoken

nothing calls you forward
nothing pulls you back
a delicate turning
a quiet awakening of what has slept

a weaving through the bones of the cosmos

awareness flows like translucent water
folding in on itself
bringing fragments of fire
echoes of laughter
ghosts of promises whispered long ago

you gather yourself from what was scattered across lifetimes
from places you once inhabited out of duty
from voices you learned to answer
before they finished asking

memory rises like incense and tide
not to bind the present
but to loosen it
until it can breathe

to pass through it
and be made whole

thought arrives as prismed whisper
in the flicker of frost
in the hush of dawn
in the pause between one breath and the next
only what shines from within remains
only what rings true is kept

everything else dissolves into luminous mist
an offering back to the void

desire learns to speak softly now
joy refracts into quiet constellations
and wounds, once sharp as stone
open into gentle wells of light

and the heart learns to pulse
with the rhythm of the cosmos itself

between freedom and belonging
a narrow bridge appears
not to be crossed
but to hover upon
you learn its balance
by feeling the weight of the sky

small fires are tended
breath, bone, shelter
the rhythm of ordinary hours
and each flame remembers something ancient

no trumpet sounds
no banner is raised

no star is claimed

nothing announces the change
yet deep beneath the frost and dark
roots awaken
braiding themselves into destiny

beginnings do not shout here
they whisper in radiance
they shimmer in silence
they unfold like starlight through infinity

this is how eras begin
without spectacle
without command
not as arrivals
but as consent

with a single, quiet turning
toward truth

you stand, present, real
and
everything has begun

As 2025 comes to a close, I gathered all the altar pictures of 2025 from all the journey circles.
Much gratitude for all the folks who came and sat in circle this year 2025
Much gratitude to all the spaces that held us, Wild Rose Holistic Health in Danvers, Just Breathe in Westborough, YogaMoves in Stoneham.
Much gratitude to all the owners, Kelley and Karen ,Missy and Lori for hosting us.
Special thanks to Ginna Ospina for your creativity and support for all the journey circles.
It was a full year.

Things are changing up for 2026.
I am not doing a New Year's Day Journey Circle.
I am doing 4 Journey Circles at Just Breathe in Westborough. March,June,September and December.
I will not be doing Journey circles at Wild Rose in Danvers or YogaMoves in Stoneham.

Happy Winter Solstice !
The shortest day and longest night
This is the beginning of Winter.
The time for rest and renewal
Of looking inward and seeing what is calling your soul.
What seeds are looking to be planted and grown.
What beauty will come out of the darkness
Sprouting towards the light.
May your reset bring peace and renewal to your system.
May you see the flicker of light in the darkest times.
Remember to nourish yourself and soften your edges
As you navigate this time.
The light is always there to guide.
Darkness is always there to hold us to ourselves.

A Winter Solstice Blessing

The winter solstice is a sacred time,
infused with quiet magic and returning light.
It is a moment when the universe, in its infinite kindness,
awakens our hearts to tender and brighter possibilities,
rekindling the light of hope within our souls
as a new cycle of light slowly begins.

In this holy pause between darkness and dawn,
we are invited to release,
to loosen our grip on old patterns, heavy sorrows,
and lingering wounds that we may continue to carry.
With open hands and gentle hearts,
we step forward,
cradling the promise of brighter, more hopeful beginnings.

May all who have known loss or disappointment
find comfort in this peaceful turning.
May the light, though small at first,
guide us faithfully through the darkest days,
reminding us that even the longest night
must yield to morning.

As we give thanks for all that has nourished us,
every lesson, every kindness, every tenderness
that shaped our year,
we honor the path that brought us here.
And in gratitude,
we begin again,
walking onward with renewed hope,
gentle anticipation,
and the quiet courage
to welcome the year ahead.

First snow here for this winter season.
Winter 2025 to 2026.
Taking a break from the business to sit in the stillness of winter. Sit with what direction the new year will bring.
I have one or two classes in January and February then back in full swing in March.
Spending time with family and friends.
