Prepare to start your day with a smile thanks to Noah at Project Walk Boston. Thanks to his summer break he just increased his program by attending the facility 3 days a week. In just 2 short weeks, the Specialists have seen a remarkable turnaround in his attitude, work ethic, and overall endurance. Noah is working extremely hard to increase his core strength and standing balance. He has also tried walking with forearm crutches! Great job Noah and keep up the hard work.

Dr. Feranmi Okanlami has inspired so many in his community and beyond. ABC 57 took the time to follow Feranmi on his journey to Project Walk Los Angeles as he looks to achieve his goal of walking. We are so proud of him and all of our clients who never give up.

Dr. Feranmi Okanlami has made it his life mission to help others with disabilities. He uses the catch phrase 'disabusing disability' as a way to start the conversation.

Scientists have created a special type of neuron from human stem cells that could potentially repair spinal cord injuries. These cells, called V2a interneurons, transmit signals in the spinal cord to help control movement. When the researchers transplanted the cells into mouse spinal cords, the interneurons sprouted and integrated with existing cells.
