It’s a full-body recalibration — affecting your hormones, brain, bones, mood, sleep, and more.

Yet so many women are left in the dark about what’s really going on.

As a doctor, here’s what I want you to know:

🧠 Mood swings? Brain fog? Night sweats?

These are not “just in your head.”

Is your multivitamin causing your hair to grey faster? 👀

Remember how during covid everyone took a zinc supplement for immunity?

Guess what- I have patients who consult me everyday,who YET take zinc in isolation or as part of a multivitamin with ratio of zinc:copper as 30:1 or the like! I see patients with premature greying on a daily basis!

Most people don’t realize this 👉

Taking too much zinc without copper can block copper absorption — and low copper is directly linked to premature greying!

So before spending money on expensive hair treatments and oils first please check you supplement !

📉 The ideal Zinc:Copper ratio? Around 8:1 to 10:1 like- 30mg Zn : 3mg Cu or 10 zn :1 mg cu

The number of inquiries I get at the clinic for these new weight loss drugs ,is scary ,frankly.
Now,anyone who has followed me long enough or who has been my patient,knows I am NOT in favour of medications to lose weight. Yet, Do I prescribe them? Do I administer them? Yes,I do .
For whom?
1- those who are type 2 diabetic and obese .
2- those in need for immediate surgery and need to drop weight really quick for medical reasons
3- A very small percentage of patients with absolute resistance to weight loss . With the understanding it’s for a short period only.
4- those who have started it themselves and now seek my advice on helping them get off it! -largest chunk of patients!
Remember-
✔️The choice of patients is very important.
✔️The choice of glp-1 analogue you choose for your patient is as important so as to minimize side effects and get maximum results-read weight loss.
✔️The diet and exercise regime required with these injections is as important .
✔️Weaning off strategies are crucial! You don’t want to be on these injections forever.
So do yourself a favour. Do NOT self prescribe !
Pl speak to a doctor who can guide you correctly for ALL of the above.
Given correctly ,they can give you rapid weight loss,yes. But- you need to do what it takes to avoid its side effects.which can be plenty. So, Stay informed.

Party hack to prevent a hangover! I learnt this very effective hack from locals in Paris! And it works so well to prevent a hangover !!Their ‘pregaming’ starts with a shot of -extra virgin olive oil.
