At 78, our Kathrine Switzer just won her first NZ running title and set a national record at the legendary Cook Gardens—where Sir Peter Snell made history! She proved once again that age is no barrier to fearless running.

Tragic

We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Ugandan runner Rebecca Cheptegei.

Rebecca, 33, was a 2021 World Mountain and Trail Running Champion, 2024 Olympic marathoner, and kind soul with an unforgettable smile. She died as the result of a horrific attack at her home in Kenya by an ex boyfriend that left 80% of her body covered in burns.

We wish Rebecca’s friends and family, including her two daughters, peace and comfort during this time. We also wish for justice for Rebecca and all who are victims of domestic violence.

Rest in peace, Rebecca. 🕊️
