Come along and join us at the Wolfson room 332 this Monday the 19th for our AGM if you are interested in a committee position or just to learn how to get more involved with the society! 🩺 🩵

Positions available include: 2 co-presidents, treasurer, secretary, welfare officer, sponsorship & charities rep, events co-ordinator, publicity officer, junior or senior rep and general members. If you would like to run for a position but cannot make it on Monday night, please send us a brief overview why you’d like to run for the position!☺️

This year, the University of Glasgow General Practice Society is hosting the Deep End Student Conference in a deep end community and aims to bring together local residents, students, academics, GPs, and representatives from the local government to have frank discussions and maybe even come up with some solutions.

The conference will give a thorough introduction to the Deep End Project, current research in Scotland, around the world, and how this manifests in Ferguslie Park. Themes include poverty, addiction, Asset-Based Community Development, and multimorbidity.

Programme details will be released closer to the event.

Following the conference, members of GP societies are invited to stay for lunch and a mini conference.

Location: Community Circus Paisley, 85 Blackstoun Road, Paisley PA31NR
Nearest train station: Paisley St James (10-15min walk away)
