Functional strength - strong for life’s task’s, muscles where it matters
Good form – we’ll do pushups, squats, all the basics
Moving fast – we’ll do agility and cardio moves
Community – meet after class for motivating talks and accountability; we’ll miss you if you don’t come
What to Expect:
WE LOVE A COMEBACK!!! It’s the complete body, fitness, and emotional transformation that Mary experienced herself in her 50’s, despite weight and knee issues, and arthritis, that’s led her to share her passion for the miracles of strength training for AGING ACTIVELY mid-life and beyond.
This FULL BODY FUNCTIONAL FITNESS class begins with movement, agility, and mobility exercises, a 30 minute strength and cardio circuit, ending with exercises for core, balance, and stretching.
FEEDBACK FROM A PERSONAL TRAINER Learn how to execute basic moves safely and effectively for best results. This is a small group training class; the size is limited.
STAY FOR THE (OPTIONAL) ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP that meets for 30 minutes after class. Fitness involves more than exercising. Mindset and habits often need work as well as eating well, good sleep, and sometimes weight loss, all topics we talk about after class.
Mary’s been teaching strength circuit classes and one-on-one personal training for 8 years to women and men of all ages.
