My name is Bill and I started the Real Life Fitness page in September 2012 to inspire and motivate others to pursue a fit and healthy lifestyle that focuses on wellness of the whole person lived out in real life. I do not make my living in fitness and this page generates no money for me. I choose to live fit not so that I can add days to my life, but so that I can add life to my days! While this page may emphasize physical fitness and healthy eating, I believe that true health and wellness can only be achieved when we are healthy as a whole person. That means we are intentional about pursuing fitness and wellness in the four major areas of life: Physical, Social/Relational, Mental/Intellectual and Spiritual. All four areas require "exercise and nourishment" if we want to experience true whole-life fitness and wellness. This page is intended to be a place where we can inspire and motivate each other as we pursue our goals to be physically fit. But along the way, let's encourage each other to become better people who are whole-life healthy. In January 2014, I started to post more about my own personal fitness journey. I have shared my highs (goals reached) and lows (injuries) as any journey has both. I post personal photos of my progress and videos that will hopefully motivate, educate, encourage and inspire you. I will try my best to continue sharing my story here along the way but the emphasis will always be on encouraging and inspiring you and your journey. I’m thrilled you have joined me and hope you will invite others to the page. Together, we can make positive changes in our lives and make a difference in the lives of others.
