🫀 The UCFM resus club, under the guidance of Dr. Vihara Dassanayake, manned a BLS station at the Sports & Exercise Medicine workshop held on 10th February 2025 at the 11th floor UCFM tower, training 70 undergraduates in CPR through providing hands-on experience.

🫀 We, the UCFM Resus Club, conducted a Freshers Stall at the FOM Colombo premises, in keeping with our vision to train as many medical students as possible in Basic Life Support, and encouraging them to take an active role in community awareness & upskilling.

We welcome all our junior brothers & sisters who expressed support for our cause! ❤️✨️

🫀 We are proud to announce that our team from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, clinched the 1st-place winners prize at the inter-university CPR competition held at the Sri Lanka College of Anaesthesiologists!!
This is the 2nd consecutive win for the University of Colombo.

🫀 In support of the COAISL/Resus Council SL in their efforts to increase public knowledge & awareness on Basic Life Support, a BLS training session was was conducted by our Club President Udhishtran Arudchelvam & Secretary Abylashaa Arulmoli, for the 'Hope' TV programme, which was aired by ITN on the 27th of October at 4pm.
