CapitalCare Strathcona Harvest House residents had an amazing time with Martin Kerr. He is an awesome entertainer, and everyone enjoyed his performance. The weather was perfect, and everyone loved the ice-cream. Special thanks to Dennis Henderson for your generous donation to cover the cost of the entertainment. Residents at CapitalCare Strathcona always enjoy our annual petting zoo! It was a great day full of snuggles and sunshine. Thank you to Chicken John's Petting Zoo for another great event. We are already looking forward to next year!

Late post from Capital Care McConnell Place North on Saturday Aug. 9th where we had our big Family Fun Day! Weather was great, we had our petting zoo by Chicken John, food sponsored by the Christmas Elves, cotton candy machine, popcorn, drinks, games, and live music by Troy Gates. It was alot of fun! Thank you to all the families attended and enjoyed it along side our residents and to the volunteers and sponsors who helped make this day happen! 🎉👏💕🎊😊

Residents from CapitalCare Strathcona, had lots of laughs posing with our swimsuit boards during our Beach Party pub night. Thank you to "Lamb Chops" for entertaining us with some beachy tunes it really felt like we were away at the beach tonight!

It's a summer yearly tradition for the Laurier House residents from CapitalCare Strathcona to walk over to Ralph's backyard to see his stunning flowers. The weather was perfect for a walk and the residents also enjoyed some refreshing lemonade made by Ralph's lovely wife Cece. Ralph has been volunteering at CapitalCare Strathcona for many years and is so very loved by everyone. His dog Josie brings so much joy to residents from Laurier House, Heritage House, and Harvest House. Ralph, words will never be enough to tell you how very grateful we are to have you and Josie enriching the lives of our residents.

Residents at Laurier House Lynnwood had a blast at our lively Summer Carnival. The day was filled with fun and laughter as everyone tried their luck at games like Lucky Lure, Toilet Paper Toss, and Blast from the Past. A talented caricature artist brought big smiles with playful portraits, and the smell of fresh popcorn filled the air, adding to the festive vibe.

It was a heartwarming celebration filled with connection, laughter, and community spirit!

CapitalCare Kipnes Centre for Veterans Adult Day Program was baking up a storm! 🧁 With a muffin baking competition between friends, there was endless amount of laughter by all. In case you were wondering the rhubarb crumble muffins turned out delicious! Everybody won this round.
