Leaves are all about air. So it’s fitting that Sanctuary Innerwear uses indigo leaves as a blue dye.

Leaves are the first thing to grow from the seed, and they direct themselves upward to the sun. Along with the stem and flowers, they are the aerial parts of the plant. Their job is to turn sunlight and carbon dioxide into oxygen, giving breath to all living things on earth. They are the light, visible, interactive part of the plant.

That’s why I use ONLY certified sustainable Lenzing TENCEL (eucalyptus) fabric 96%.
It’s also why I dye each garment with plants, mostly from my garden and without chemicals.
And it’s the impetus for innovating the 100% natural herbal infusions that give each garment their name and intention.
