What if the true “magic pill” has been hiding in plain sight all along? ✨

Let's go back to the basics!

What if movement, nourishing meals, sunlight, sleep, and a powerful mindset could transform our entire outlook on life? 😌

What movement practice can you take on when you feel moody or unsettled? It can be as simple as going for a walk, doing a 10-minute workout or heading to a yoga class 🧘‍♀️.

What foods do you reach for when you're feeling anxious or emotional? Can you find alternatives that will nourish your body but feel just as satisfying like a homemade treat that is naturally sweetened? 🥧

Do you make a point of spending time outside every day and soaking up some sunlight as much as possible? 🌞

Instead of staying up late watching another episode of your favourite show, can you read a book in bed to wind down, write in a gratitude journal or have a 10-minute meditation session in the evening? 📖

Cultivating a healthy mindset by hanging out with positive people, finding the hidden gifts in challenging situations, and being conscious of our inner voice can trigger an upward spiral of positivity! 🌀

Which one of these practices will you choose to embrace today? 🌱💫

Have you ever felt like you NEEDED a rest, but just kept on pushing? 😮‍💨

I've done this way too many times 🫣, and each time my body forced me to stop by getting sick with a cold or flu...or even worse health issues!

In today’s fast-paced world, we’re often pushed to keep going, even when our bodies are crying out for rest.

Work deadlines, family obligations, events we can't miss...

The pressure to fulfill our duties can make us feel guilty about slowing down, but neglecting our need for a healing pause only prolongs our struggles.

Just like butterflies, we need to pause during life’s storms to recover and recharge 🦋.

So here's my invitation to myself and to all of you to take a moment for ourself— our health and well-being matter! 😌

With a holistic, preventative approach to well-being, life is so much smoother!

And remember: it’s okay to rest! 💪

Having a gratitude journal has become a very common thing 📔, but have you ever heard of a "glimmer" journal? ✨😁

This would be a book where you write all the "glimmers" in your day, and can look back to realize the abundance of precious moments that make up our lives.

Deb Dana, licensed clinical social worker specializing in complex trauma, coined this term in her 2018 book "The Polyvagal Theory in Therapy".

She refers to glimmers as the small moments when our biology is in a place of connection or regulation, which cues our nervous system to feel safe or calm 😌.

"What we've discovered is as you begin to see a glimmer, you begin to look for more," Dana says. "It's just what we do... and we then delight in finding them."

Dana invites people to set what she calls a "glimmer intention." You may decide "I'm going to look for one glimmer before lunch."

So, do you want to play the glimmer game with me and try to look for those moments of presence and connection this weekend? 🤗

Let me know in the comments what yours are! 🌻

Are you saving something for a special occasion? That dress you love but can't seem to wear because it's too fancy👗? Or that precious China set that's collecting dust in your cupboard 🍽?

Stop! ✋ Don't save anything for a special occasion because the truth is that being alive is the special occasion 😲.

We often forget that life is made up of moments. Special moments that are meant to be cherished and celebrated 🥳.

Every single day is an opportunity to experience joy, love, and gratitude 🙏. It's a gift that we should unwrap every day with immense excitement.

And in my experience, the ONE THING that allows us to do the tings we love in life is HEALTH.

Because without health, just the thought of going on a walk with our loved ones can cause anxiety from the fear of having knee pain or holding back the group...😓

That's the real "WHY" behind the creation of my health programs!

For years, I treated my body like a machine. Push through. Ignore the signs. Fix it later.

But healing taught me something sacred: my body isn’t a project to perfect — it’s a temple to protect.

Now I ask myself daily…
Does this food love me back?
Does this habit honor the future I want?
Does this pace allow me to feel peace?

What about you — what’s one way you're choosing to treat your body like a temple today? 🏛

Let’s inspire each other in the comments 💬. You never know who needs your reminder.

There was a time when I kept circling back to foods, habits, and even people that drained me… hoping for a different outcome.

But you can’t heal in the same environment that made you sick.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is walk away from what once felt familiar and choose nourishment over nostalgia.

What are you ready to leave behind to protect your peace, your glow, your smile?

And what are you walking toward this season 🌸?

Let’s share 💬. Your story might be the one someone else needs to read today 😌.

I’ve learned something powerful on this healing path—it's not always the massive overhauls that change your life. It’s the quiet, almost invisible choices. The ones that seem too small to matter in the moment.

For me, one of those choices was simply removing refined sugar. Not to be perfect. Not to impress anyone. Just to feel a little better in my own skin.

At first, it felt like a whisper. But that tiny shift rippled outward. My moods lifted, the fog in my brain started to clear, and my inflammation eased just enough to give me hope.

That hope fueled the next step. And the next. Until one day, I looked back and realized I was living in a different body—with a different outlook on life ☀️.

So I want to ask you—
What’s the one small change your body has been asking for?
What’s the tiniest step you could take today that might open a new door tomorrow? 👣

You don’t have to leap. Just lean forward 😌. I'm right here cheering you on. Let me know in the comments what's calling to you 💬.

When I first started healing my body, I was full of fear 😰.

Fear of food
Fear of symptoms
Fear of doing it “wrong”

But over time, I realized that true healing isn't about control, restriction, or perfection. It's about shifting from fear to love ❤️.

Loving myself enough to slow down.
Loving my body enough to nourish it.
Loving my journey enough to be patient with the process.

So let me ask you something:

What part of your health journey have you been approaching with fear?

And what would it look like to meet that fear with love instead?

Healing starts there 😇.

Ready to stop fearing food and start healing with it?

Here's my CHERRY "CHEESECAKE" recipe I made on Breakfast Television 😋 Dairy-free & gluten-free

FILLING:
2 cups raw sunflower seeds
3 cups water, for soaking
1 tsp pure monk fruit extract + ½ cup coconut cream (see Tip; or ½ cup raw honey)
2⁄3 cup coconut butter or coconut oil
½ cup full-fat coconut milk
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
½ tsp unrefined pink salt

CRUST:
1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1 cup raw walnuts
¼ cup ground flaxseed
Pinch of unrefined pink salt
¼ cup coconut cream (see Tip)
½ tsp liquid stevia (or 1 teaspoon pure monk fruit extract)

Directions:
1. In a large bowl, soak the sunflower seeds in the water for 24 hours. Make sure to rinse and drain the seeds well in a mesh colander. Using a clean kitchen towel, pat dry to remove any excess moisture from the seeds.

2. Combine all the crust ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until a crumb-like mixture forms. Press the crust mixture into 3-inch tart pans or small ramekins. Clean the bowl of the food processor.

3. To finish making the filling, combine the soaked and drained sunflower seeds, monk fruit and coconut cream, coconut butter, coconut milk, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt in the food processor and blend until smooth. Divide the filling evenly among the tart pans or ramekins, smoothing the tops with the back of a spoon. Cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour to set. Top with Cherry Topping (see below).

Tip:
1. For coconut cream, place a 14-ounce can of full-fat coconut milk in the fridge overnight. Scoop out the solid coconut cream.

CHERRY TOPPING 🍒:

1½ cups frozen organic cherries (pitted)
1 tbsp lemon juice
¼ cup water
10 drops monk fruit liquid (adjust to taste)
⅛ tsp guar gum

Instructions:

1. In a saucepan, combine cherries, lemon juice, and water.
2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Lightly mash some of the cherries for a textured sauce.
4. Stir in monk fruit drops. Taste and adjust sweetness.
5. Sprinkle guar gum lightly and evenly over the hot mixture while whisking constantly to prevent clumping. Simmer 1 more minute to activate thickening.
5. Remove from heat and let cool before spooning over cheesecake.
