Three years ago we opened on Small business Saturday. In this world of all online everything, we love that people take time out of their day and The brick and mortar experience is still important. In this third year we are thinking of the community experience in new ways, we are thinking of ways we can build in-person, in new and meaningful ways and of course we are thinking of health and wellness in new ways. We are in the business to help and serve people at what can sometimes be very personal and vulnerable ways. We don’t take our assignments lightly. Every person who comes through our doors matters to us. Every testimonial, every referral, every family, every new baby… we love our Dope Community so much. Ya’ll really do mean the world to us. We are so grateful to build and provide our products and services to the community. Your continued support of our small business is so important, and we don’t take it for granted.

Last year we kept saying when the shop turns 3 we’ll be Three Times Dope. Of course being from Philly this means something and being from a specific era for Philly hip hop we had to take it all the way there. We had so much fun on this shoot, that late 80’s early 90’s was something special.

Dope Botanicals is not your average herbal wellness brand, but I think y’all know that by now. We are unapologetically ourselves and authentic! After all we are from Philly.

Hey, hey! We’ve been trekking and thinking and we are so inspired! Entrepreneurship is as mainly about mindset. When we opened Dope Botanicals we knew we wanted a model that allowed us to operate freely. This means we close the shop for breaks. Our third year is just a few months away and we are going to operate with a new vision and we are excited about it! Self healing is paramount in order for us to show up for others, and most importantly ourselves. This was one hell of a year, we’ve had loss and bereavement. And still we rise(insert Maya Angelou).

We are strategizing and thinking about how we can create more and how we can create faster. This year has been a doozy and we look forward to ending it strong!
