I have a passion for helping others to improve their life. When you are happy with yourself you are able to give more to others. SNHS Dip.

With my support I want you to find the motivation and be inspired to live the life you want and deserve with a healthy mind and body that can tackle anything. You may be overweight, unhealthy, unfit or just uncomfortable with yourself but unsure of how to take the first steps to improve. You may be unhappy with the way you look, don't recognise yourself anymore, lacking in confidence, or returning to work after having children. We can look at your diet and lifestyle and together we will find the tools to help you achieve your goals. I will help you to remember or identify what brings you peace, happiness and contentment with the world and yourself. Following a session with me I want you to feel uplifted, motivated, empowered and encouraged to face the day/week but I can always be contacted by email if you need a little extra guidance in between sessions. You can contact me by email then we can arrange a time to meet or talk on the phone. I love to coach outdoors but when the weather is unkind, I can coach from my home or visit you in your home. In 1988 I trained to be a Staff Nurse with the North Lothian College of Nursing and Midwifery in Edinburgh. In 1993 I qualified as a Reflexologist with the Scottish School for Reflexology. In 2010 I studied Nutrition, Psychology and Counselling and Life Coaching with the School of Natural Health Sciences.

SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) can be very difficult but if you have mild symptoms it can be managed. Playing badminton today I realised that a good way to deal with SAD is to do something unseasonal. We don’t need to be victims to the dark days or the weather.
Today was dull - but I try not to think this way. It’s so important to flood our minds with positivity. So, instead of saying ‘it’s dark and miserable’, I’d look for the positive and say to myself, ‘it’s very calm and still’, you get the idea. Anyway, my thought for the day was try unseasonal activities such as meet a friend for a walk (layer up, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes), enjoy a coffee sitting outside, buy yourself flowers, apply fake tan, anything that carries you through the darkness 🌻🌻🌻
D3 and K2 are essential for those in the northern hemisphere ☀️☀️☀️

We’re always running around making sure everyone else is ok. Typically this affects women more. We can eventually burnout and become overwhelmed, feeling anxious and depressed.
The message we’re given during a flight is to put your oxygen mask on first, then attend to others. In the real world this is what your oxygen mask looks like:

1. Eat real food. If in doubt, do the opposite of government advice, eat the meat, eat the butter, eat the eggs. Avoid sugar and ultra processed food.
2. Sleep. Don’t underestimate the importance of enough, quality sleep.
3. Exercise. Move every joint and every muscle every day.
4. Get out in nature.
5. Speak to family and friends.
6. Pray and meditate.

This is your survival kit.

Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?
Time and again I hear people say they have aches and pains and sadly they seem resigned to always feel this way. This happens more often with our older friends and family.
Don’t let anyone tell you it’s your age. What many people don’t realise is that our bodies regenerate, they have the ability to self heal and they are self regulating. Given the right environment ‘miracles’ can happen.
From now until Christmas I am on a mission to help as many people as possible to be inspired to improve their lives. With this in mind an hour session will cost £20. I don’t believe finances should be a barrier to health therefore let me know if this isn’t affordable and we can work something out.
All I need from a client is a willingness to change and improve.

Christmas gift vouchers can be bought for £20 for the first hour and a half session and can be used up to the end of February 2025.
