For those of you that currently rely on Fullscript for ordering your professional grade supplements online, I will be transitioning you to my friend and colleague Jamie Dorley with World of Wellness. It is with great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of founder and CEO, Dr. Tom Bilella of Nutrition Treatment Center.

The outpouring of condolences and recognition are very much appreciated by his family.

Below is a great gluten-free, dairy-free, and grain-free recipe for Sweet Potato Turkey Patties!

Ingredients:
1 Pound grass fed Ground Turkey
1 clove garlic
1 Tbsp Pure maple syrup
¼ cup chopped chives
¼ tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp poultry seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups grated sweet potato
2 Tbsp avocado oil

Directions:
1. Combine the turkey, garlic, maple syrup, chives, red pepper, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper in a food processor.
2. Process and transfer to a large bowl.
3. Fold in grated sweet potato to the bowl.
4. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet .
5. Once hot, form the mixture into patties with your hands and place on the skillet.
6. Cook 2-3 minutes, flip and cook another 2 minutes.
7. Add a splash of water to the skillet, cover and cook for another 5 minutes to help cook thoroughly without burning the outside.
8. Remove the cover, let the liquid cook off and transfer the patties to a paper towel lined plate to drain.

Below is a great Immune Boosting recipe

Immune Boosting Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 medium orange, peeled
2 cup carrots cooked & cooled
½ inch peeled ginger root
2 scoops vanilla or other protein powder
1 tsp. turmeric powder
Small pinch of black pepper
8- 12 oz. of unsweetened light coconut milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. pumpkin seeds

Directions:

Put all ingredients into a blender, and blend it to the consistency of your liking.

Enjoy!
