✨TWO YEARS AGO, when I first discovered , I created a bowl from their “Build Your Own Bowl” menu.

I called it the RADIANT DETOX BOWL, because…

EVERY INGREDIENT had a purpose.✨

Designed for taste, texture, color and flavor.

🌸The market radishes, daikon sprouts, & cilantro are specifically, and purposely added for their POWERFUL DETOX effects, cellular cleansing, liver cleansing and clearing of unhealthy ESTROGEN from the body, and gut.

🙌Celebrating EVERY client this week that stepped into new ways of EATING, LIVING & HEALING!

✨This week I’ve witnessed a client giving up her longtime sugar, coffee and processed protein powder…

✨Instead, she swapped up to a healthier, amazing, cellular energy support shake / that she LOVES!!

✨She also swapped up to a better, no sugar coffee, and clean-ingredient almond milk.

💃Another, midlife, menopausal woman, invited me to her lab review visit - with a doctor I referred her to.

✨There, together, we saw that she now had NO INSULIN RESISTANCE, and her cholesterol markers were all in the GREEN. The doctor was THRILLED. So was she.

(This was amazing, especially now that we cleaned up SUGAR from her daily eating.)

✨We had been working on this all last year, as her sugar and cholesterol levels had been high.)

✨Her labs showed she did have a few “gut inflammation markers” show up. She will start a supplement protocol to irradiacate. Supported by the physician and myself.

✨After the appointment, amazing client and I went across the street to were I showed her a few new food options to support her gut health -

✨fermented vegetables, paleo bread (labs showed wheat intolerance) coconut wraps, Salmon, a special smoked salmon - that uses green tea instead of nitrates, and a new bottled glass high ph water.

NOTE: labs can definitely take the guesswork out!

✈️And, lastly, another menopausal woman client went to another state on a whim to take care of an elderly family member.

✨She noticed, despite the very very stressful moments, her new cellular energy shake (we stated her in last month) + the new professional-grade supplements that were in

✨ALIGNMENT with her RECENT GENETICS TEST NEEDS, kept her ENERGIZED & FUELED as she moved through her long and exhausting days!

✨Truly celebrating all the ways EACH is staying with their journey, no matter what! It’s a long GAME!! 🍽️👏

Since the industrial revolution and well into the 70’s with the push of packaged and highly processed foods, we’ve been “sold” a LOT of Diets & Strict Food Trends.

At the center, celebrities and athletes to entice us to want it even more.


What if,

We gave ourselves permission to relax into what was right for us. Tuning into our natural, circadian rhythm. Our own unique genetics. And the climates in which we live.


What if,

We used food and meals to support our hormones (especially thyroid, cortisol, melatonin & leptin - the hunger hormone.)

Eating is a beautiful nourishing act. And for many, with so many “food rules” it can actually create more stress and anxiety.

Here are a few food tips to help you get back into thinking about eating as an art and eating in alignment with the seasons and circadian (nature) rhythms.

✨Consider…
•Local seasonal food
•Adequate bioavailable, high-quality protein.

•Lower glycemic, lower sugar foods.
(Eaten mindfully. For many, best eaten at the end of meals midday.)

•Getting some Early AM light to regulate cortisol (before looking at your phone!) to boost alertness, fat burning, and mitochondrial energy.

GOT SNACKS!✨
As we move into the holiday weekend here are a few of my favorite summer snacks to keep you fit, fueled and satisfied.

All are blood sugar balanced and easy to make.

It’s fig season and the figs are fresh and delicious. Fresh figs are super great for gut health and have lots of potassium too.

My favorite organic tahini is from Trader Joe’s.

Sprouted walnuts have a lot more nutrition and for many, more easily digested. I get mine at Erewhon. You can make them too.

All of the above snacks can be made in advance. Take with you for healthy holiday travel or a picnic at the beach.

Mix and match fruit too. Swap out apples or figs for fresh berries or peaches.

Food is love. Food is pleasure. Food is family, celebration and joy.

And, at its core, Food is information for our body and cells.

Every day we get the chance to choose what goes on the end of our fork (spoon or chopsticks 🥢:)

This is never about being perfect, or following some set of ”food rules.”

It’s about choosing the foods and ingredients that will support your highest health, best energy, libido, emotional wellbeing, sexual wellness and your own genetic pathways.

High fiber, high quality protein, healthy fats.

Healthy cells, and healthy cell membranes, contribute to better blood sugar balance, more energy, better focus, more calm, and better hormone balance.

They can also contribute to healthier hair, more radiant skin, and an easier time losing weight.

When your cell membranes are made up of beautiful healthy “essential fatty acids” everything works better.

Bringing in foods that are made up of these essential fatty acids is a GREAT first step to building health, rejuvenating your cells and restoring your body’s ability to heal.
