Matthew Zych has a B.A.

Whether that be in your home, in a local park or in your backyard, we are dedicated to giving you a challenging yet safe and effective workout. in Exercise Science from Baldwin Wallace University and has been involved in athletics his whole life. He has been a competitive swimmer the past 11 years of his life, with the last four as a part of a Division III Varsity Swim Team. Matthew has experience in Weight Loss/Toning, Sports Conditioning, General Health, Balance Training, Muscle/Strength Enhancement, and can help you monitor your diet to get the most out of your time with him. It is Matthew's goal to bring convenient, safe, effective, fun, and affordable exercise to his clients. Why should you pay a gym membership every month, to only have to pay again for training in a small, crowded and very public atmosphere! Let us come to your house, backyard, or local park, and give you an effective workout in the setting you prefer! Current Status:

Currently Matthew is a Personal Trainer, and Assistant Swim Coach for a local swim team. He is currently in the start-up phase of his business and is looking to build a client base within the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. He is looking to be available to start training in July of 2013. If interested in training with Matthew please contact him via this site with your Name, Phone Number, Location, and a short description of your goals and past exercise experience. He will contact you ASAP to discuss pricing and a start date to a better you! Matthew is now offering the services below independent from Personal Training! Nutrition Counseling: This service will be for people who are currently working out and are at a stand still in their progress, because of their eating habits. It can also be for people who want to take the first step toward weight loss by changing their eating habits before starting an exercise program! A counseling session will last 30 minutes, and will cover everything from your personalized daily calorie expenditure, to explanation of Macro and Micro Nutrients. I will help you learn how to look at your diet and make changes for the better!*

Gym Orientation: This is for people who are already active, or already have a gym membership, but are not quite sure how everything in their gym works or can be utilized. Upon looking at the gym you are a member at I will help you learn how to use each and every machine, along with giving you a brief explanation of how to structure an effective workout! This orientation will be set-up ahead of time and will last about 30 minutes.*

August Special! First Session/Consultation only $15!

This will be a 30 minute time commitment where we will discuss your goals and what you are looking for in Personal Training. Along with that I will discuss in-depth all of the tools I have to help you achieve your fitness goals, from Nutrition help to Cardio Programming. If you decided training was the option for you we could then discuss pricing as well as getting all of the paperwork out of the way so that we can have you up and exercising during your first official session! Hey Guys! I will officially be offering my first Boot Camp this Sunday, August 4th, at 8:00am. It will be held at Cornell Park in Des Plaines, and will last about an hour. The cost per person will only be $5 for a fun, challenging workout bright and early Sunday morning! I ask that if you are interested please RSVP via messaging me on this site, with your name and an e-mail address I can reach you at! If you have any interested friends please also include their e-mail address and name! Once I have enough interest I will send out an E-mail Friday the 2nd to confirm the Boot Camp and send out directions to the spot! I currently do not have enough interest but am hoping I can get some of you guys excited about it by tomorrow evening!

I take issue with transformations that are manipulated with Photoshop, professional lighting, postures to degrade or enhance their look, pro tans, sucking in or pushing out a belly, or flexing muscles. I decided to take my own transformation photos to see what was possible with a few tweaks.

Hey guys, I've decided to move forward with the boot camp idea! Please message me your email or the email of anyone interested in the boot camp. Once I have enough interested peoples emails I will set a day and time! It will be $5 to participate, will be one hour long, and will most likely be on a Saturday morning @ a park in Des Plaines!

Hey Guys! Hope everyone is doing well! I had a friend suggest an idea to me and I figured I would see what you all thought about it!? This would pertain really only to the people that live near Des Plaines. What do you guys think, do you think I could stir up enough interest, if I offer a Boot Camp once a week, every week, at the same time, at Cornell Park? The Boot Camp would be 45 minutes to an hour long, include a warm-up and cool-down, and consist of 10-15 individual stations that everyone would rotate through! It would be $5 to take part in the class, open to anyone and everyone! What do you guys think?!
