A detailed look at a plaque (blockage) inside an artery using OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography).
Green arrow: Relatively normal looking artery
Blue Arrow: Cholesterol has accumulated deep within the wall of the artery as seen in the form of fat particles.

A patient with severe left leg pain on walking resulting in severe disability. We found complete occlusion of the Superficial femoral artery extending into popliteal as well as posterior tibial artery below the knee. Successfully treated with atherectomy and drug coated balloon angioplasty.
