3 years ago today we were checking in to the hospital, not knowing when or if Olivia would leave. Yesterday, we celebrated Olivias graduation from kindergarten 🥰

Olivia’s transplant was made possible by and a very generous donor. Unfortunately this summer, 63 patients are at risk of not getting a life-saving bone marrow transplant because the financial burden is just too much.

It’s been quite awhile since we posted, and I thought I’d give a little update. Olivia is doing fabulous and enjoying life as a normal kid. The past year has flown by and I can’t believe that she’s almost done with kindergarten!

Sticking snow this early in December is pretty uncommon around here, so when it started sticking Olivia was eager to get out and build her snowman ☃️

It’s that time of year again!

Olivia got to see Santa this afternoon at our favorite spot, ! We started coming here when Olivia was 2, a couple months after she got sick, and they’re wonderful every year. If you’re local you definitely need to check them out - and get some yummy nuts while you’re at it! 🎅🏼🎄

Stopped by holiday bazaar this morning, Olivia helped me make cute photo props of her school mascot, and middle school mascot (not pictured). Huge shout out to for hooking us up with the paint!

Then we hit up the Prairie high School winter carnival for some crafts! Their students did an awesome job putting on a really great community event!

Olivia really stepped it up with helping prep this year, spending half the day in the kitchen with me! Maybe by next year she’ll be using a real knife, then I can teach her the joys of cutting onions 🤣

Guess who’s better?! Well, mostly better. The pneumonia and cough may take a bit to clear up, but she’s feeling great and got cleared by doc yesterday. Just in time for her friends birthday party today!

Now I just need to get over it 🤧
