As someone that has had their butt kicked for years by autoimmune, I know the spoon theory very well. The last 2 months I haven’t had a single flare. I attribute it to minimal carbs, cutting out alcohol, and working out. But I’m still very aware of when my body is getting tired and in desperate need of downtime. If you’ve never heard of the spoon theory, check it out. It’s okay to ask for help and to turn down the things that are going to drain you.
