There is a version of parenting that looks like love…
but feels like pressure.

Pressure to behave.
Pressure to comply.
Pressure to become who we think they should be.

most of us don’t question it.
Because it’s what we received.

We call it care.
But underneath it, there is often fear.
Fear that they will fail.
Fear that they will struggle.
Fear that we are not doing enough.

So we tighten.
We correct.
We control.

And slowly… without realising it…
we pass down the same emotional constraints
we grew up with.

What struck me wasn’t what my son said.
It was the fact that he could say it.

That is the shift.

Not perfection.
Not getting it right all the time.

But creating a space where truth can exist
without punishment.
Without withdrawal.
Without shame.

That’s how patterns break.

This Friday, inside Being Human,
we’re opening this conversation:

→ the inherited dynamics we carry into parenting
→ the unconscious control we mistake for love
→ and how to create emotional safety without losing leadership

If this hits something in you,
you already know why.

Four days off.

And you still can’t relax.

You call it a long weekend.

Your body calls it:
“time you’re already behind on.”

So you don’t rest.

You hover.
You scroll.
You think about everything you should be doing.

And then it leaks.

Your partner asks for your attention.
Your kids want to play.

And something in you tightens.

it’s not that you don’t love them.
But it feels like they’re taking time you don’t have.

So you snap.
Or you withdraw.
Or you stay there… but you’re gone.

This is the shadow no one talks about:

You don’t feel safe
when you’re not producing.

So even in rest, you’re bracing.

Even in stillness, you’re running.

If you’re a woman who leads and this hits…

this is the work.

Not time management.
Not discipline.

Your relationship to pressure, control, and worth.

If you’re ready to stop living like this,
message me “RESET”
or reach out to work with me 1:1.

45 arrived with clarity.

The kind of clarity that comes after everything you used to rely on… collapses and stops working.

For me, 40 was the beginning of the unraveling.
Lockdown stripped away distraction, and what was left was everything I had spent years outrunning.

The identity.
The relationships.
The way I was leading my life.

What followed wasn’t a quick breakthrough.
It was years of sitting in discomfort, investing deeply in myself, and learning how to be in my own body without needing to escape it.

Therapy.
Trauma work.
Boundaries.
Truth.
Pain.

Not glamorous.
But necessary.

And somewhere along the way, something fundamental shifted.

I stopped performing leadership
and started living it.

That’s the work I do now.

I don’t teach you how to be stronger.
I guide you to stop abandoning yourself.

Because the most powerful leaders I work with aren’t lacking capability…

They’re disconnected from themselves.

If this resonates, you’ll feel it.

And if you’re ready to do the work, not just talk about it

You think it’s pressure from work.
It’s actually the pressure to prove you’re worthy.

For many women who lead,
the pressure didn’t start in the boardroom.

It started much earlier.

In the moments where love, approval, or safety
felt conditional.

Where being “good,” “capable,” or “strong”
became the way to belong.

So you learned to perform.

To hold everything together.
To anticipate.
To over-deliver.
To stay composed.

And it worked.

It got you here.

But the same pattern that created success
often becomes the one that creates exhaustion.

Because you’re not just leading your work.

You’re carrying an invisible weight:

The need to get it right.
The fear of disappointing.
The pressure to be enough.

This is not a mindset problem.

It’s a nervous system pattern.

And until it becomes conscious,
it will keep running the way you lead,
the way you relate,
the way you live.

The work is not to become someone else.

It’s to unlearn what was never truly yours.

To separate who you are
from who you had to be.

This is where leadership changes.

When you stop leading to prove.

And start leading from a place
that no longer needs to.

This is the space we create inside
Being Human — Women Who Lead

A space to look at the patterns
we’ve normalised.
The emotions we’ve suppressed.
The roles we’ve outgrown.

And to begin breaking the cycles
we’ve been carrying for years.

If you recognise yourself in this…

If something in your body
knows this is true…

Don’t ignore that.

This morning at breakfast, I lost my temper.

My son was lying.
And something in me snapped.

More than just irritation or frustration.

Actual Rage.

The kind that takes over your body
before you even realise what’s happening.

And in that moment…
I wasn’t just his mother.

I was her.

The child I used to be.

10 years old.

Lying.
Hiding.
Trying to stay safe…

From the exact reaction
I was now giving.

Same tone.
Same words.
Same edge in the voice.

The ones that once made me feel
small.
ashamed.
wrong.

And there I was…

Being the very same way
I said I would never be when i knew nothing about parenting means…

This is how patterns repeat.

Not consciously.
Not logically.

But through the body.

Through the nervous system.

Fast.
Automatic.
Unquestioned.

Before awareness.
Before choice.

And suddenly…

you’re not responding as the woman you’ve become.

You’re reacting like a volcano…

This is the work.

It’s Not about being perfect or never getting triggered.

But having the courage
to see it in real time and To interrupt it.

To take responsibility
for what you pass on.

Because the truth is:

The pattern doesn’t end
when you say it will.

It ends
when you become conscious enough
to stop it.

This is what we explore inside
Being Human — Women Who Lead

Not just leadership.

But the shadows we carry into it.

There are emotions women are allowed to express.

And there are emotions women are trained to suppress.

Rage.
Jealousy.
Resentment.
Exhaustion.

Especially for women who lead.

But these emotions rarely come from nowhere.

Many of them are nervous system patterns inherited from generations of women who had to suppress themselves to survive.

The April edition of Being Human explores these hidden layers of leadership.

Not to shame them.
But to bring them into the light.

The evening includes conversation, reflection, somatic movement, breathwork, and a grounding closing ritual with ceremonial cacao from

Friday night was beautiful.

We gathered.
We connected.
We shared our stories.
We shook.
We breathed.
We released what had been sitting in our bodies for too long.

We spoke honestly about the human experience of being women who lead — the responsibility, the pressure, the emotional load, and the parts that are often kept quiet.

And something powerful happened in the room.

Women listened.
Women supported each other.
Women held space for each other.

When women come together with honesty and intention, something shifts.

There is relief.
There is clarity.
There is strength in knowing you are not alone.

I left feeling deeply grateful for every woman who came and contributed to the space.

This is exactly why Being Human exists.

And I’m already excited for the next one.

The next Being Human – Women Who Lead gathering will take place on 10 April.

If you feel called to be in the room next time, I would love to welcome you.

Because something truly powerful happens when women who lead gather…not to perform strength, but to be human.

Thank you for your beautiful closing ceremony ❤️thank you Misty and Eleanor for your presence ❤️✨

International Women’s Day this year carries the theme: Give to Gain.

Most women in leadership already give a lot.

We give competence.
We give emotional stability.
We give resilience.
We give solutions.
We give calm when others are reactive.

But often, what we give comes at a cost.

When frustration is swallowed.
When anger is suppressed.
When we keep performing strength instead of telling the truth.

Over time, that suppression turns into burnout.
Distance.
Irritability.
Disconnection from ourselves.

So what if Give to Gain meant something different?

What if we gave honesty?
Gave reflection?
Gave space to the parts of leadership that are rarely spoken about?

Because when women leaders share their real human experience:

We gain clarity.
We gain boundaries.
We gain nervous system regulation.
We gain leadership that doesn’t require self-abandonment.

That’s what we’re doing at Being Human – International Women’s Day Edition.

A curated gathering for women who want to:

• Lead from authenticity
• Integrate their feminine intelligence
• Stop suppressing anger
• Break burnout cycles
• Connect with other women carrying real responsibility

We’ll move through structured dialogue, reflection, breathwork integration — and close in circle with ceremonial cacao from ✨

This is not about being louder.

It’s about being truer.

If you’re ready to lead without bracing — join us.

I don’t teach breathwork.

I don’t teach techniques for the sake of techniques.

I coach sensitive women in leadership to reclaim their power.

Your breath is the anchor.
The stabiliser.
The place you return to when the room gets tense, when you’re interrupted, when you feel the old urge to shrink, appease, or over-explain.

We use the breath to:

• Regulate your nervous system in real time
• Speak clearly without over-justifying
• Set boundaries without guilt
• Honour your limits without apology
• Break out of toxic relational patterns at work and at home

Because the goal isn’t to “cope.”

The goal is to become unshakable in the boardroom.
To lead without self-abandonment.
To run your queendom without secretly wanting to escape it.

If you’re a sensitive woman in leadership who is done shrinking, numbing, or holding it all together alone…
Message me.

Let’s talk about where you are and what leading on your own terms would actually look like…. At work, at home, in life.. to stop running away from your life and loving running it like a Queen of your own Queendom.
