"Four years ago I was diagnosed with Lyme disease after a tick bite. I developed numbness in my legs and feet, arms and hands, swelling, pressure and severe fatigue in my lower legs. Today would be Pat's birthday. I'm so grateful for the 30+ years I got to spend being his friend. I miss him all the time. Who could imagine a girl from Florida, a boy from Canada, a boy from Oregon and a girl from Louisville would join together in a lifetime journey. There will never be another like him.
