When phrasing questions to a Tarot reader, it is important to remember that the better your question is worded, the better the information you will receive. Avoid yes/no questions, questions that have time restriction, and questions that have should. The best questions start out with:
Can you give me insight into ...
What do I need to understand about ...
What is the meaning of ...
What is the lesson or purpose of ...
What are the circumstances underlying ...
How can I improve my chances of ...
How might I ...
All of those phrases give the reader an area to focus on so that you can make the most of the session. Sometimes when I find that someone has having difficulty forming their question, I offer assistance in clarifying what it is they want to know. For example, If you were to ask, "Why does John hate me?", you are assuming that he does and if the answer is "yes" what then? I would guide a person to a question along the lines of: “What do I need to improve within myself to create better relationships with others?” This would provide useful information to enhance that person's life.
