A World of Pink is a health facility established by Board Certified Fitter Christine A. Guarino, RDH, CMF, CFm to meet the needs of women in all phases of breast surgery aftercare, including those who have had mastectomy, lumpectomy, augmentation, reduction, reconstruction, as well as natural breast support. We strive to provide beautiful support garments, including breast prostheses to match your

skin tone and lifestyle, beautiful, comfortable pocketed bras, and lymphedema garments, for all phases of breast surgery. Women deserve an educated certified fitter who provides a caring environment to implement a perfect fit for both bra and possible prosthesis choices. We at A World of Pink have made it our mission to provide women with the opportunity to restore not only confidence, but also breast symmetry and positive body image. It is with the greatest sadness that we are sharing this moment with our community,
We mourn the loss of Dr. Melissa Fana, a remarkable breast cancer surgeon in New York and a true advocate for women’s health. Her unmatched dedication and compassion greatly impacted the lives of her patients, offering reassurance and guidance during their toughest moments.
Dr. Fana was a familiar face at events like those of the World of Pink, symbolizing resilience and hope. Her legacy will continue to inspire us all. She was a beautiful person & friend. So many lives were saved by her.
Her work is immortalized.
Our heartfelt condolences go to her family during this difficult time. Dr. Fana’s spirit will always guide us in health and healing.
Melissa you will be missed tremendously by all! I will miss you forever my beautiful friend. The Breast Cancer Community lost a Hero .. a true Hero 🌺💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
