Schoolin’ Social Work

I am a Certified Master Social Worker and Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in my 12th year of practice as a school social worker at the elementary school level. I love my field of work and enjoy that each and every day is different and brings along side it unique challenges and fulfilling changes. Through the use of this page I hope to connect with social workers, mental health practitioners, school staff, parents, others looking to enhance and/or advocate for the lives of ALL students. Our work is only as good as all parts--let’s connect the parts--have fun, thoughtful discussion, and grow professionally. On this page there will be a gamut of provoking, controversial, funny, relevant thoughts and information which may not necessarily be my personal perceptive but rather food for thought in our school social work world. We must be educated from 360 degrees in order to carefully analyze and address any situation for the betterment of the students we serve.
