Yay! I am officially a Qualified Hypnotherapy Practitioner! I am so excited to share this tool with others. My mission is to try and help it become mainstream as I see how it could be extremely beneficial for western medicine! Feeling very passionate that I have the ability to share the tool of hypnosis with others to help those overcoming anxiety, trauma, pain, basically ~ anything! Love adding tools to my tool belt. Coming June I am to finish my business and marketing classes an will officially* be a Mind Body Wellness Practitioner.
This has been a long journey but well worth it! After being at California State University for 5.5 years and after adding on double majors I felt so passionate about so many different things I didnโt really know what I wanted but I thought I did. I went to college to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. I knew I was passionate about helping others but all the ways I was helping others never felt fulfilling for me and I started to lose the desire to help others - as selfish as that sounds itโs the truth. There is something about the fulfillment of helping others along with the passion to do so! I worked as a counselor, a mentor, worked in addiction centers, worked in a mental health facility, I helped mentor young children, and I even was a mentor guide during sorority recruitment. I studied human development focusing on biology & psychology and anthropology with a strong focus in culture & biology (in the anthropological field). My goal was to put all these focuses into helping married couples and families but I didnโt know why I wanted to do it, just felt drawn to hearing and helping random peopleโs problems!
In the middle of me trying to decide where I wanted to go to complete my masters program to become a MFT I had many great awakenings. It led me to take a year off of school and just figure myself out and it led me to consciously shift my path to a more purposeful & meaningful one. During that year I grew obsessed with self work and very drawn to alternative ways of healing. Meaning healing naturally through holistic ways - healing the mind, body, and spirit. From working in western medicine, going to traditional schooling, as well as going through alternative schooling, and many life experiences I came through and found my passion for natural healing of the mind, body, and spirit as a whole. I am beyond appreciative for what I have discovered, researched, and on top grown a strong passion for!
It feels so fulfilling when you follow your passion regardless of the circumstances. I didnโt know what I was doing at first, but I glad I let my intuition guide me to living a life filled with freedom, joy, and abundance! So thankful I have the freedom to be my own boss. I feel accomplished and ready to share this gift!
