🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

I am honored to share that I have been promoted to Senior Superintendent & Training Specialist!

This milestone is more than just a career move — it represents the alignment of my professional journey in healthcare construction with my lifelong passion for empowering others. In this role, I am developing and facilitating a superintendent training program designed to empower individuals to transform and thrive in excellence as healthcare construction professionals.

For me, this is a lifetime achievement. It’s an opportunity to share 3H - Head/Heart/Hands Methodology. It is inspired by Booker T. Washington, founder of my alma mater, Tuskegee University. 3H principles include:

👤 Head: Cultivating knowledge & strategy
💚 Heart: Leading with passion, empathy & purpose
🤲🏽 Hands: Building with skill & ex*****on

For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to helping others grow both professionally and personally by creating opportunities through initiatives like “3H Intro to Pre-Apprenticeship Program” and “Divine Body & Mind Gathering.”

I am excited for this next chapter of continuing to build, not just remarkable healthcare projects, but also people and legacies.

A Special THANK YOU to Teresa Atkins, Director of Career and Technical Education, at Greene County Career Center in Eutaw, Alabama for allowing me the opportunity to present REIKI (energy balancing) to her staff today.

What better setting than with an amazing group of educators that impact the lives of young emerging professionals in career & technical education (construction, barber & cosmetology, medical, computers, etc.) Wow!!!🤩

I always enjoy opportunities to share about the importance of energy balancing in our lives as people, parents & professionals. A balanced energetic frequency assists us with mindfully navigating the relationship we have with ourself, with others and with our environments.

All over the world our ancestors understood that a balanced energetic frequency assists with creating meaning by not only using the HEAD (Knowledge Connection) & the HANDS (Skillset Connection) but also yielding to the HEART (Intuitive Connection).

Connect with Coach Gene to assist you or your team with making HEART Connections

Had an GREAT time today sharing a presentation on Energy Medicine (REIKI) today at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center. Greatful for, Recreational Therapy Supervisor, Analisa Little-Dicker, the Education & Whole Health Department for the opportunity. I also thank my business partner, wife & friend Andrea Little Mason for being present and adding to the experience!

The VA Medical Center’s approach to Whole Health focuses on ‘what matters’ to individuals as opposed to ’what is the matter’. This approach centers on the needs, values and goals of individuals. As a energy practitioner I am excited about this approach as it takes the conventional paradigm of physical health and integrates it into the mental, emotional and energetic wellness of individuals. A practice that was not foreign to indigenous cultures around the world. A message that has always been a part of my authenticity, even while managing in the construction arena for the past 27 years.

Here’s to forward progress.

A Pathway Back to Restoring the Dignity of Labor

More and more I hear high school students say, “I'm not college material; I think I’ll just go do a trade.”

My first thought? “Man, I hope they don’t bring that energy and attitude to a construction site, because they’ll be dangerous to themselves and everybody else around them.”

Many people think that skilled craftwork requires minimal intelligence and less discipline to be successful. The truth is that skilled craftwork requires competency of academic knowledge as well as the ability to work with your hands masterfully. It also demands that individuals have the commitment necessary to complete their educational program and work well with others.

For over two decades I’ve been committed to exposing young people to construction craftwork as a way to “restore the dignity of labor” and teach skills that can serve them for a lifetime.
