As someone living with coeliac disease and with my sister and dad also diagnosed, this month and the impact it has means so much to me personally.
From the shock and sadness of a diagnosis, to the stress and awkwardness of eating out and always having to check, question, and explain… I know how hard it can be. That’s why I’ve poured every spare minute into Coeliac Awareness Month — not just through my work at Coeliac UK, but as someone who lives with Coeliac disease and the challenges every day.
I want better understanding. I want safer choices. I want to help find the 500,000 people still undiagnosed — because everyone deserves to feel well and be taken seriously.
The work doesn’t stop here, let’s keep pushing. Share your story. Speak up when something isn’t right. Share your favourite gluten free find. Keep raising your voice and advocating, because it matters. We need all the community to come together to drive it forward with impact!
We’re not just asking for change, we’re making it happen!!! 🧡💪
