One of the exercises I’m exploring this week in training is an invitation in co-emergence, in trust with the non-human world around us. In between a busy Saturday of shuttling kids, I found 10 minutes to sit and breathe with this tree that stopped me in my tracks. 🪾Just thinking of everything it has seen and witnessed, and what we can learn from its journey. 🫶🌳❤️

After seven years of textbooks it feels like an exhale for my soul to be finding my way back to the woods lately, to old friends, relationships and stories and to new learning at long last with for my forest therapy guide training.

I’ve joined the 2026 Moose Cohort, a collection of amazing humans from all over the world. For the next six months we will deepen our relationships with the non-human world and discover what co-emerges together.

I can’t wait to take you along.

Gratitude. For being welcomed in community and invited to gather.

Thank you Anna of for your gentle guidance to look within and without, to hold a pathway in ourselves to a bridge where the light and the dark are as one, with a sweet reminder that I AM and WE ARE. 🫶

And Jenne of .ca gifting us with creation, with invitations to try and to imagine, and to honour and to gather all of ourselves as we create.

We meditated and made wreaths together that gathered quiet spells of the season, bringing together elements that carry their own stories and intention and honour ancient Celtic wisdom, protection, and renewal.

Beannachtaí na Grianstad: Blessed Solstice everyone 💫✨💫

OK universe. Well played, well played. I’ve been down a bit of a crisis of confidence black hole lately wondering if this intersectionality I find myself navigating in between storytelling, tree communicating, and the mental health industrial complex that is psychology is where I’m meant to be, then in the midst of one of my more confounding days, a call from a new friend .therapy finds me in community at an event that weaved together parts of my past, my heart, and my dreams all in one juicy heart-led conversation.

I can’t wait to read your work ! Thank you for curating the conversation and for just being you! Community magick ✨to the rescue! Full heart 🧠🌳📚

A few weeks ago I had the immense privilege of finally hiking a trail I have wanted to my whole life, THE West Coast Trail! And then this lovely quote about honouring the unfolding of nature and of our minds from my meditation this morning reminded me that I wanted to share some of my time on the trail so here’s a little story…

After my accident a few years ago this sacred place was one of many experiences I thought was out of reach for me. But as someone said to me recently, “Are you one of those people who just doesn’t die?!” well…
🤣🤷‍♀️👊 I may be down a few lives now but I’m sure as hell going to keep living this one I’ve got!

It is a privilege to be alive in this messed up world right now and to be able still have the ability to walk these lands in community and with the deepest of respect. Thank you to the First Nations of Huu-ay, Ditidaht, and Pacheedaht for allowing us to access and witness your traditional territories and the legendary West Coast Trail. It truly was worth the wait of a lifetime and the only place I wanted to be for my 50th Birthday.

I cried with the ancients, made friends with slugs and fungus, mushrooms and water droplets. Conquered hundreds of feet of ladders one armed, endured hot flashes in gortex and earned the trail name whiskey ass…🤦‍♀️ It was blisters and bliss indeed! I will be back. You have my heart West Coast Trail. Thank you for reminding me that life’s unfolding happens at its own pace and our role is to walk alongside it all. 🫶
