IBS Clinic Established in 2013, IBSclinic.mindovergut.com (formally IBSclinic.org.au) was the first to provide Your use of this service and feedback is valuable.

IBSclinic.org.au is a free online mental health service offering information, assessment, and a structured treatment program ("eTherapy") for individuals with IBS and associated psychological distress. This website and its intervention program is free and available to all individuals with IBS and also any health provider to use with their patients. The IBS-focused psychological treatment program includes:

- Stress management with a mindfulness focus
- Strategies to identify and address IBS associated anxiety and depression symptoms
- Sleep and pain management strategies
- Strategies to identify and address psychological patterns known to impact IBS symptoms

IBSclinic.org.au has two primary goals: (1) provide information about IBS; and (2) provide an effective online psychological treatment service for IBS. IBSclinic.org.au comprises 2 main areas:

- Information: High quality information and resources are provided to enable you to gain a comprehensive understanding of anxiety and depression generally, and of anxiety and depression disorders specifically.
- Treatment program: A comprehensive and effective treatment program for treating the psychological aspects that contribute to the development and maintenance of IBS. The self-help programs are for individuals with mild symptoms and are offered free of charge. Your participation in the assessment and treatment programs will also help shape this service to better support individuals with IBS. If you would like to volunteer to participant in other ongoing IBS-based research activities at Swinburne University, please feel free to contact us at: ibsclinic@ibsclinic.org.au

IBSclinic.org.au has arrived!

We are proud to announce the completion of IBSclinic.org.au. IBSclinic.org.au is a central point for the most up-to-date information on IBS symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options; IBSclinic.org.au also provides a 12 week online psychologically focussed treatment program that is available free of charge.

The online treatment program brings together validated psychological treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness therapy; both treatments that have been shown to be effective in reducing the symptom severity and psychological distress associated with IBS.

With over 100,000 words, 75 handouts, 30 information videos and 18 audio files accessible online, IBSclinic.org.au aims to provide IBS sufferers with easy access to the latest research and treatment options.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED: We are seeking volunteers to participate in the 12 week online intervention programs in order to test and provide feedback about these services. Individuals should be diagnosed with IBS and experience mild psychological distress which is not currently being treated.
