ACS(I): Call for E-AGBM on 25/06/2021, 08:00pm

Dear ACS(I) Members,

Hope you are safe and well. As you are aware, the conduct of ACSICON, Guwahati has been postponed on several occasions due to the unpredictable nature of COVID19 situation in our country. Also there have been multiple discussions in the past years regarding the shift of ACSICON from the month of April due to issues relating to the financial year.

The current EC has met on several occasions and has deliberated on this issue.
To ensure the continual functioning of ACS(I), ACSICONs have to be conducted.
The current EC proposes to conduct an E-AGBM with the agenda of "Conducting ACSICON 2021, Guwahati in the first week of September 2021; the Conference would be conducted as a hybrid conference and in case of any last minute unpredictability it would be converted into an e-conference. The ACSICONs of the subsequent years are to be held in the first week of September instead of April."

To have a discussion on the above and to ratify it in the best interests of ACS(I), an E-AGBM has been conveyed on Friday, 25/06/21 at 08:00pm. The link details will be shared soon.
Please attend without fail.

Best Regards,
Dr R Raghunatha Reddy

As we coping up with menace of COVID19 in our professional and personal lives, the current EC of ACS(I) had a Virtual meeting to discuss on the roadmap ahead and also on how to reach out and be of continued assistance to ACS(I) members. Do stay in touch with us....

27/04/2021

Dear Colleague,

We had communicated to you recently that ACSICON 202ONE will be held as an e-conference on the same dates as was scheduled.

The ACS(I) EC members subsequently reviewed the decision to conduct e-ACSICON 202ONE in the current scenario when our country is engulfed in an overwhelming health crisis. Every other member or his/ her near and dear ones have been directly or indirectly affected by this upheaval.

In this backdrop, the ACS(I) EC, in consultation with Team Guwahati, has decided to postpone the conference as the delegates, faculty and organisers would not be in the right frame of mind for the same. We regret the inconvenience but remain committed to hold the conference when the situation is conducive for all.
Team Guwahati has been with us in all our decisions and we are grateful to them.
We continue to seek your support.

This hardship is making us weary, but we have the strength to overcome it.
Let's reach out to each other, let's support each other and let's stay connected.

Regards,
ACS(I) EC & Team ACSICON 202ONE
