Jason loves skateboarding, rock climbing and snowboarding - solo activities that really push his limits. But these kinds of aggressive sports come with a price. We’re working with Jason to make sure nagging injuries and poor movement don’t stop him from doing the things he loves.

Plyometrics : Also known as jump training or plyos, are exercises in which muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time, with the goal of increasing power.
For us at MVMT, these deceptively simple actions are a key routine for us as we navigate patients towards better movement!

We’ve found this tool, called the Landmine, to be essential in developing explosive, functional power in our clients. These movements are at once technical yet natural, creating a satisfying “catch” at the end of the movement.
You may be thinking that these movements are for athletes only…or that your injuries prevent you from ever getting here.
We don’t think that’s necessarily true and have seen folks build up their strength over time to the point where our Landmine cleans start to be come a regular practice in their fitness routine. We can help you get there if you’ve got the motivation to move better today.
