After my bout with both breast and thyroid cancer in 2003, I decided to do an about face and change my lifestyle and my diet. Hence, MY wholesome life was born and I've decided to spread the good news regarding health and nutrition with my web blog entitled The Wholesome Life. Also since then, I've gone from being a city girl to being a country girl/farmer. What a transition that was and sometimes still is...LOL I started the blog last year and have become more and more committed to it. For those of you who are new to real foods, here is a list of what REAL food should be:
1. Humanely raised (animals raised on pasture, not in factory farms)
3. Whole and unrefined (real maple syrup instead of high-fructose corn syrup)
5. Processed as little as possible (raw milk instead of pasteurized and homogenized)
6. Nutrient-dense (enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and probiotics)
7. Free of additives and preservatives
8. Free of synthetic and chemical ingredients
9. Not genetically modified
10. Traditionally produced and prepared

I didn't create this meme, therefore the misspelling of the word instead is not my fault. However, one misspelled word doesn't discredit the meaning of the meme. Always choose whole foods as they are in nature, over processed, lab made substitutes. Also, if possible, always choose diet and lifestyle change over taking a plethora of meds.

Truth!! Only answer I can come up with is they want to keep people on meds for the rest of their lives. They lose money if people reverse their diabetes and don't need meds anymore. This only goes for Type 2 Diabetes, which can be controlled and possibly reversed with proper diet and exercise.
Type 1 Diabetes is not controllable without meds.

That's because if you got healthier, they'd lose you as a customer! Sad state of affairs, to say the least!

What started as tomatoes and spices is now corn syrup, additives, and lab-made flavor.

If the ingredients have changed, the effects have too.
