BABY MASSAGE: These classes can be held as one-to-one session

s in the privacy of your own home, or as group sessions in a specified venue. Our group classes are kept to a limited number, and are a great opportunity to meet other parents.
* Alternatively special discounts can be offered for any parent wishing to hold a small group class in their own home ie, if you are part of a group of mums, such as from your antenatal classes & you are all interested in baby massage. It is a lovely way to keep meeting up whilst also sharing special moments with your babies. Accredited by 'The Royal College of Midwives', our courses have been developed as a comprehensive five step programme designed to introduce both you and your baby to the basic principles of baby massage in a clear, consistent and easy to follow fashion. The sessions are run on a weekly basis to allow you ample time to practice and perfect the techniques in the privacy of your own home. Each session is accompanied by comprehensive session notes which will be given to you on a weekly basis to provide you with a recap of all of the information from your session. This will ensure that both you and your baby gain the maximum benefit from your hands on babies experience. Important note ~ babies always come first

It is important to note that the sessions are run on the basis that the babies and their needs are always put first. Whether your baby needs feeding, changing or whether they are unsettled, their needs always come first and the class readily embraces this. It is never forgotten that all mums are in the same position and that our babies don't always operate to our timetables - much as we'd like them to sometimes. There is no pressure and we never judge.....

So we've just been in full swing of a strawberry full moon and eclipse, and it sounds like it has been bringing up lots of things for many. ⁣

I first want to mention the STRAWBERRY FULL MOON itself & where it took its name from (which holds a relevant connection to myself) ~ as it originates from native indigenous tribes of America & their referral to the rising of the JUNE moon with the blossoming of berries and ripening of STRAWBERRIES. ⁣

The Energy of this Eclipse will be in harmony with the next 2 eclipses later in the month. By the 5th July, as the 3 eclipses come to an end, we will experience a rebirth. Strongly relating to the Phoenix (the name of my business - Phoenix Wings EnerQi will rise and be set in motion) 🌠🌟💕 ⁣

For now softly recognise and release emotions. There is a shedding and a letting go which will feel difficult but bring about new beginnings 🌠🌟🌌💜⁣

EVERYTHING that has been⁣

So why not be consciously create the life you want so that you can have a conscious say in your reality and life that lights you up?⁣

You may be asking 'ok so Rebecca what does it mean to consciously create, or you may have heard of 'conscious creation'⁣

Conscious creation means creating an awareness that your thoughts, feelings, your intentions that you set out each day and the vibrations of your energy, all play a role in the life your living. ⁣

Your current reality is a manifestation of your previous thoughts and feelings all of which are generated by deep seated beliefs that you have (most of which are held within your body - but that makes for another post) ☺️⁣

Most of these are not even your own 😯 ⁣

They are influenced by society and picked up as a child! ⁣

Most of them are self-limiting and only serving to hold you back or keep you 'SAFE' (the SUBCONSCIOUS mind doesn't like CHANGE or GROWTH' 😯 ⁣

Although these limiting beliefs can be changed 🙌🏼 ⁣
Your subconscious mind can be rewired 🙌🏼 ⁣
And you can raise the vibration of your energy 🙌🏼 ⁣

You can also clear blockages within the body so that energy flows freely, and clear stagnant stuck energy too 🙌🏼💫 and improve your life force energy (chi) ⁣

So all is good ☺️🤗💫💛 ⁣

~ softly let the breath release out through the mouth (ahhhh sound)⁣

💫 Then say aloud ~ 'Quantum changes are happening' ⁣

💫 Deep breath in and repeat 🔁⁣

💫 Deep breath ➡️ repeat⁣

💫 Sit with it...let it land in your body (take note of how it feels in the body) ⁣

If i could get hold of the materials and a nice big stick, i would love to try having a go at making one myself...would be another little thing to try on my list of things i would love to do (when there is time) 😊😍 ⁣

Although i have to admit how do days in lockdown still go so fast....! ⁣

Take a few minutes each day (that's all that is currently needed, just to ground and centre. To breathe deeply. To connect with your heart ♥ to escape from your mind and all the busyness of thoughts and emotions. ⁣

Right now we are in unusual territory so we are allowed to have all these thoughts but we need to recognise and release them. To have space from them. ⁣
To reconnect with the heartspace instead. ⁣

Place one hand over the other on your heart... smile into this space....and allow creativity to show.

Connect with the heart-space where dreams and passion lie. Focus on what lights up your inner smile ♡ ⁣

Know that you have all that you need right there within YOU ♡ ⁣

Focus on the CHOICES you have right here, right now ♡ ⁣

Be led by your intuition ➳ Trust it ♡ ⁣

What is your intuition telling you? ⁣

When life forces you to slow down & reinforces what actually REALLY matters in life is the present moment, health, loved ones, connection, memory making, the small things and precious ⓜⓞⓜⓔⓝⓣⓢ not ⓣⓗⓘⓝⓖⓢ

When life shows that materialistic objects are NOT what gives you strength to get through ⓢⓣⓞⓡⓜⓢ

They are NOT what is going to help you be a ⓦⓐⓡⓡⓘⓞⓡ of your own destination.
Nor will they bring you long term joy, only momentary joy.

Dont get me wrong we can still have an appreciation and gratitude for certain objects, but true deeper gratitude has to come from ⓛⓞⓥⓔ from ⓗⓔⓐⓛⓣⓗ from ⓒⓞⓝⓝⓔⓒⓣⓘⓞⓝ from ⓔⓜⓑⓞⓓⓘⓜⓔⓝⓣ from ⓑⓔⓘⓝⓖ and from ⓜⓞⓜⓔⓝⓣⓢ

💫 When you can't go out go within'💫⁣

My Daughter's art piece for me...making use of what she had to hand at the time - a biro pen! So no allowances for mistakes. ⁣
She wants to still finish it for me but I couldn't wait to share as it's certainly a lesson for me to be able to not wait for completion or perfection.., fine tunement and scrutiny only to maybe not be shared anyway...⁣

Just like art pieces we are all MASTERPIECES aswell as being a work in progress and we all need to show up with no worries or concerns of judgement from ourself or anyone else. ⁣

We all have gifts to share with the world and with this new stillness, and finally some quiet to hear ourselves, NOW is the perfect time to tune in. ⁣

A perfect time for CONNECTION 💫💞 ⁣

A perfect time to listen to what your soul is pulling you to. ⁣

Now that the world has HAD to slow down and reflect...⁣

Now that the outside noise has quieted.⁣

Now that you can hear yourself. ⁣

Now that there has been an opportunity for all to reflect on what really matters in life. ⁣

I've had some powerful moments in life which gave me an opportunity to really take a step back and reflect on what was really important to me. To tune in to my innate intuition as that was actually a guide that proved worth listening to. And at times the one thing that got me through some very difficult, unknown and worrying moments. And afterwards instead of life going back to 'normal' I had evolved and had a NEW normal 💕 a new different.⁣

Although life globally in a pandemic is now exactly this but on huge scale, I am happy that the world may change to see what really matters in life which is happiness, health, doing more of what you love, enjoying 'moments' not 'things'. Having connection within and with eachother. Gratitide, Community spirit & support instead of disconnection. And all without judgement. ⁣
Allowing and accepting emotions & feelings. Letting go & releasing. Being guided by our bodies & intuition even more so in difficult moments. ⁣

I hope for everyone that there has been moments of reflection before wanting to rush back to busyness of life on speed dial and perhaps even new found joy 💞

So after a busy productive week of DOING this week...creating, making, painting, making do with bits we could find to use that we already had indoors, and things that needed putting together (the odd jobs that get put off in the busyness of life)...we have now decorated our bathroom, put together a new bathroom cabinet, painted an old mirror that we bought for our very first house, decorated what we could of our utility room until we run out of the paint..put together some other units that will adapt that space into an office too 🙌🏼 hubby has a work in progress still going on where he is making and painting a desk made from old wood 🙌🏼💛 cant wait to have a little office space where it's a separate haven instead of just one in our living room. ⁣⁣⁣

It's been a united family affair of everyone joining in and doing there little bit, all together. We've had fun and giggles. And a welcome distraction from the difficulty and sadness around that's all so real. ⁣⁣⁣
Although we are missing our big girlie from the equation (which has made it alot tougher), our positive loving vibes being sent to her after she has had a very difficult week working at the hospital in these more than tough times...not so easy for her to be able to distract herself 😥 we are so proud of her 💞💓💞 ⁣⁣⁣
All we can all do is try our best to stay informed but also try & distract and focus on other things right now...its about staying connected to self and others, staying centred and grounded, and also giving ourself some free headspace...keeping as focused as we can on a healthy balance. ⁣⁣⁣

💫 CREATE more than you CONSUME 💫 ⁣⁣

With the current situation I found myself consuming so much information that for one it just felt like information overload, and secondly understandably like us all it led to heightened strong feelings and emotions. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Listening to less wont change the situation but it makes it easier to absorb in as level headed manner as possible. Instead of going into full on fear and panic as was the case when all things heightened. ⁣⁣
It's not any less worrying, but there is only so much anyone can absorb and consume daily. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Of course keeping up with the information that's important & needed is very necessary, however we have all decided to get creative in one way or another and it feels so good. ⁣⁣
It's bought alot more smiles, reduced hightened stress levels, bought more connection with eachother and to ourselves. Plus it has just been soo nice to have time to be creative. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Today as a family, we have literally made things from leftovers, hubby has built a desk from wood we had, we've each done painting (as in decorating) with paint we already had indoors, we've painted our bathroom and put together units we had bought for when these things were done..⁣⁣
I've been creating & designing some business things. The kids have been creating things, and doing things they haven't done in a while...it's surprising when life slows down just how much you can do and how creative your mind can get. ⁣⁣

The distractions have been a saving grace too. Having a nice focus. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So too has slowing down to speed up. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

My daughter threw herself back into reading the other day..a long lost passion which had been taken over with school work..being at home gave space to reconnect..⁣
It took her a day and a bit to read a thick book...that was her first little adventure...⁣

Since then it's opened up many others...⁣

Adventures can be; ⁣
Getting lost in a book..⁣
Writing your own book...⁣
Reconnecting with old passions and dreams (that perhaps in the rat race of life as it were before, can now be rekindled) ⁣
A new hobby..⁣
Forgotten about hobbies..⁣

💫 The Beach and the ocean has always been my go to place to visualise calmness 🏝 ⁣

For me personally, connecting my breath to the waves and tide coming in and out, (as explained on a previous post) has always helped to calm my mind and put me in a better, more relaxed & focused place. ⁣

Whilst I am a great believer in positivity we also need to make sure that we ACKNOWLEDGE and FEEL all of the emotions of recent weeks...⁣

So as we arecapproaching the end of another week, allow yourself time to process all feelings, thoughts and emotions..⁣

No doubt we have all felt these emotions in waves with the occasional freight train. ⁣

Know that it's ok not to feel 100% positive all of the time..⁣

That it is only human to feel all the feelings, fear, anxiety, worry and even panic, whilst feeling positivity, having gratitude and enjoying the smaller moments, accepting and enjoying a time to just be...be in the moment...all in one day - yes that is a thing..it can be a rollercoaster! ⁣

Take your time to process the shift in your life. ⁣

Connect within and really feel these changes...see what it holds for you. ⁣

What changes for the better have you already seen? If any just yet..?⁣

Has any of it led you to new thinking? Or even a remembering?⁣

New rituals, new connections, a love of community spirit...⁣

A love & appreciation of life itself 💕💫 ⁣

Whatever your feelings are right now, accept where you are. ⁣

Dont hold on to any lower vibrational energy for too long as that only then gets stuck in the body...⁣

🌊 𝐓𝐔𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 with a simple breathing practice...⁣

Think of the ocean and the way the waves come to shore..⁣

The water rolls in..pauses..then returns to the ocean. ⁣

Think about breathing to mirror the movement of the tide 🌊⁣

𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 ⁣
𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 ⁣
𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓⁣

Take a moment to pause and give this a go...(only try this if you don't have any breathing difficulties or other problems related to breathing)⁣

🌊 Sitting or lying down, preferably sitting..place one hand on your tummy & the other hand on your chest.⁣

🌊 Take a deep breath in through the nose, sending the breath down & feeling your abdomen expand. ⁣

🌊 As you continue to inhale let the breath rise up to the ribs & chest where you feel your hand on your chest rise - at the top of the inhale allow the breath to pause for just 1-2 seconds.⁣

🌊 Exhale through the nose..feeling the breath relaxing & descending from the chest - allow the breath to move down from the ribs..at the end of the exhale allow the abdomen to move slowly back towards the spine as you squeeze the breath all the way out..pause again for 1-2 seconds.⁣

🌊 Then repeat 🔃⁣

𝐀 𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐥 & 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭. ⁣

🔁 Repeat this breathing technique for a few breaths then notice a sense of calm and free-ness in the body. ⁣

This is quite a nice breath to do first thing in the morning and last thing at night especially during these times. It can also be done any time of the day that you feel a wave of anxiousness or stress developing. ⁣

It is also nice to close your eyes and visualise the waves with the breath. ⁣

I did this automatically years ago in my first labour (before I knew anything about hypnobirthing). It just seemed to come naturally as things were building. Probably because of my breathing techniques in dance and end of class relaxation that we used to do sometimes. Which looking back now was like a form of meditation & visualisation.

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 the number one key element in transforming stress 💫 ⁣

Something we do unconsciously thousands of times a day..but that's the point we do it unconsciously sometimes being totally unaware in the subtle changes in our breath. ⁣
And how certain situations or triggers will completely change our breathing. ⁣

We are in a global phase of change and unknown territory. All of our lives as we knew it have been turned upside down. ⁣

Of course we are going to hit moments of stress and even fear. It's in these moments that our body systems can rapidly change to fight or flight. ⁣
Shallow breathing into our chest activates the fight or flight part in our brain which if we are not using that energetic response to do just that, instead we are left feeling anxious & stressed. ⁣
It's not good for our body to stay in this response and state of stress for long periods of time. ⁣

But by pausing & being conscious of our breath, changing the way we breathe to a more deeper, abdominal breath down into our dantien, which then slows down the heart rate, activating the bodies relaxation response and deactivating the fight or flight response, we are then sending a message to our brain to relax and calm down, which in turn reduces anxiety and stress & changes the way we feel. ⁣

Breathing deeply down into the abdomen sends a message to the body to transform negative emotions into positive ones. ⁣

Deep breathing also moves qi (life force energy) and clears stagnant energy from the body helping our vitality.⁣

We can bring a sense of calm to our mind & body simply by changing and being conscious of our breath 💫⁣
