The healthiest amount of alcohol to drink is zero.
That’s not a scare tactic—it’s the consensus from decades of research.
Alcohol has been linked to 200+ health conditions, including heart disease, liver damage, and at least 7 types of cancer. And despite what the headlines might suggest, no amount is “safe” or “good for you.”
But here’s the real problem:
We’ve normalized alcohol so much that saying you don’t drink feels more controversial than drinking itself.
