My Kidney failed in June of 1999 after my first year of college , after I returned home for the summer. I started dialysis in Jan 01 and did this 3x a week for 4.5 hrs for five years. Then I got the call from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Oct 2006 I received a cadaver kidney. My transplant lasted 4yrs until August of 2010. I have done some personal life changes to be better my quality of life
