Kayliana's Krew- Beating Behcets One Day at a Time This page is a journal update on Kayliana's journey battling Behcets. Behcets is a Rare Autoimmune Kayliana started getting sick at the age of 4.

She was getting constant fevers, mouth sores, purple spots on hands, fingers peeling, hip filled with fluid, low white cell counts, severe head, leg and stomach pain, hair loss and just over all not feeling well. After MANY dr visits her pediatrician could not figure out what was going on. At this point I switched over to Loma Linda and more tests were ran....still no answers. In December of 2013 Kayliana lost her hearing in her left ear. I did not agree with how Loma Linda was handling things so I switched to Rady's Children's Hospital in San Diego. At the age of 8, Kayliana was diagnosed with Behcets Disease, Fibromyalgia, Sensorineuro Hearing Loss and migrains. She also has a fistula on her heart that has to be monitored. We have had our ups and downs BUT we are determined to turn this MESS into a MESSAGE!!! Follow along in our journey as together we all help Kayliana BEAT BEHCETS!
